A&F survives because of one thing and one thing only, kid peer pressure. The parents could control this if they had the guts to say "NO!" to their kids.
I guess if we don't ban selling thong bottoms for kids, their parents won't be able to say no. We must outlaw these types of clothes because us regular guys just can't stop ourselves from buying whatever crap the fad companies put out.
NewsChannel5 reported that Abercrombie and Fitch is under fire for marketing sexy underwear for kids. The company is making the line, which includes thongs, for girls ages 10 to 14.
A company spokesperson said that the underwear is meant to be lighthearted and fun.
But that's not how many people see it.
"You know, I still played with dolls at 12, and I wouldn't have thong underwear on at 12," said Kelly Duffelmeyer, a preschool teacher.
"Abercrombie and Fitch is selling clothes to make children sexually stimulating to adults," said Brian Camenker of the Parents' Rights Coalition.
Abercrombie's corporate headquarters said that the company has received only two formal complaints about the underwear.

You're telling me. Especially if you're a guy and you put them on backwards. |
"Mad TV" did a parody on thong diapers.
