Gays defending faith and selves [Openly gay Diocese of Cleveland employee set to join Marianists]

Before I begin, this isn't just to Akron Al. This is to everyone in this thread. I'd just rather not put everyone's names in the "To:" column. It'd take forever, and I have enough to say already. So, here we go;

Howdy. Settle in, folks, 'cause this is gonna be a comparitively lengthy post. I'd like to start off by scoffing at the note below the reply window that says "Please: NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts." I couldn't read half a page of posts without seeing racism easily more than once. Yes, I realize the first thing that will come to mind when I say that is probably "Racism? There's no racism here, this is about gays." To which I reply; Thou art truly an imbecile. Racism is one of those neat little words that is defined as one thing in the dictionary, but actually encompasses all forms of bigotry, especially for purposes such as this. So, yeah; I just called you all bigots, and racists. Don't like it? Well, that's great, but guess what; I don't much appreciate being called a pedophile because I'm gay. (And hey, at least my complaint has some founding; I've never once looked at a kid and thought something sexual... But you people have nothing but animocity for homosexuals. Come on. All it takes is a base IQ of 10 points or higher to know I'm right on that one.) Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to address something said by someone who was one of the first to post a response to this thread. I don't care to recall the wording, nor to read it again, so I'll just wing it. It said something in response to where, in the original post, someone said that homosexuals were no more likely to engage in sexual abuse than heterosexuals... And the person who responded said, "So you're saying we're just as likely to molest people of the same gender?" There, O Audience, is proof positive of the general level of stupidity I find all around me in people like you. The only way that statement could even be comprehended is that afterward the oh-so-intelligent one put "Most of the abuse is male on male." To that, I say I do not have any studies or statistics on the fact, but here's some food for thought: If you're operating on the assumption that there are a good many more heterosexuals than homosexuals, and you take into account that we're all aware of the fact that you hate us (And yes, I hate you all, too. Spread the love.) and would do nearly anything to persecute us... Would we really prey upon children (which is an absolutely disgusting idea to me at least, might I remind you.) and give you that kind of ammunition to use against us? And, furthermore, I said you seem to operate on the assumption that there are more heterosexuals than homosexuals. What does that mean? That means that statistically speaking, if we were all equally likely to engage in sexual abuse, that heterosexuals would do more abusing. Now, I'm sure you're laughing at me, thinking that I just proved we molest kids more than you. Did I really? No. Why? Are you aware that a great deal of those who molest people of the same gender still say they're straight? That not only makes you wrong, that makes you all a very sick and confused bunch. But, wait! I'm sure you've got a counter-argument for that, too. You're thinking, "So, they say they're straight so they won't get in trouble." Well, that is a possibility. But... It's their word against everyone elses. So, if it's their word against everyone elses, and you say they're lying- then I think I should remind you that when you say we're more likely to molest kids than you are, it's your word against ours. To clear up any confusion I might have caused with that, what I'm saying is basically, "Those who molest kids of the same gender more often than not claim to be straight. You say they're wrong. You claim homosexuals are more likely to molest kids than heterosexuals. I say you're wrong." So either you admit that you're wrong about the straight people molesting same-gendered kids (in which case you're wrong about homosexuals molesting kids more than heterosexuals), or you admit that you're wrong about gays molesting kids more than straights. Either way, I win, and we reach the same conclusion. Look at that! I've successfully proved you all wrong, and destroyed a "scientific study" that "proves" gays are more likely to molest kids. So... One gay guy just proved his intelligence over a mass of heterosexual bigots. (Sorry, just thought I'd point that out. You get to hurt us and ban us, so I feel like adding insult to injury when I get to prove you wrong. Which is often.)
