I want a massive student exchange between our universities. Why stop there? Send the professors too. They should be able to teach Castro-approved courses without missing a beat.

Another day, another blowjob for a dictator by the horrible Jimmy Carter...
To: GeneD
"Hi, my name is Jimmy. No, not Jones; Carter. And I am really one of you. I never really did like America. I tried like hell to trash it and failed. I left it with 10% unemployment rate and rising. Thankfully one of my succesors, William Clinton, did a finer job than I. God knows the treason he committed but will never be held accountable for. Well, I just wanted to say "hi" and "thanks", and let you know I love you and long live Stalin!!"
To: Bob J
Public opinion surveys show that a majority of people in the United States would like to see the economic embargo ended, normal travel between our two countries...I'll bet that the majority of people in the US probably don't even know an embargo exists or that travel is not "normal".

Is this for real?!...I'm looking for the Onion Logo....This SOB carter should never be able to set foot in this country again. And further, I would say......#^(&(^$*&(*$@#@@!(*&^%*&&^%&)((*^%I_+^^%*&!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank You.

For more than a quarter century, we have struggled unsuccessfully to guarantee the basic right of universal health care for our people.Where does Carter find this "right"?

It's one of the foundations of Christian Marxism. Carter has always been a Christian Marxist.

My nation is hardly perfect in human rights. A very large number of our citizens are incarcerated in prison, pssst. Jimmy, they are called CRIMINALS in our country
and there is little doubt that the death penalty is imposed most harshly on those who are poor, black, or mentally ill.
Just because you have little doubt doesn't make it so.
For more than a quarter century, we have struggled unsuccessfully to guarantee the basic right of universal health care for our people.
Huh, a "Basic Right" that the government can steal the hard-earned money from one class of people and give it to the other class at the point of a gun???
THANK GOD CARTER ISN'T PRESIDENT, He's making a Fool of himself this time.
To: kezekiel
Carter already involved us in a massive exchange of prisoners during his dismal term as president...oh wait, that was only a one-way exchange.
To: GeneD
Dear Lord, I humbly ask that you grant the wisdom to our current administration to see that Americas borders need to be closed immediately, which will, in addition to being the right thing to do given our current fight against terrorism, will see to it that Jimmy Carter is left on the outside looking in.
To: GeneD
Ah, moral equivalence again. There was this quote by a conservative thinker, a year or two ago that I'm unable to find now, that summarized such foolishness very succinctly. I think it was from the Wall Street Journal (it was posted here.) Do you remember its exact wording? It went something like this:
"Whenever somewhere in the world a head is being bashed, there'll be a fool in this country to remind us that the head is enjoying free education!"

ROFLMAO!!!!

Why stop there? Send the professors too. They should be able to teach Castro-approved courses without missing a beat. Cuba doesn't want our lib professors as they are better communists than their Cuban counterparts. It would make them look bad.
To: kezekiel
Send the professors too. Let me tell you what I found a long time ago. The professors in Communist countries who have experienced the earthly paradise first hand teach what they must without ever believing in it and oftentimes teach the garbage with a wink and a nudge. On the other hand, do we even have to point out where the true believers reside? So yes, send our professors there, there'll be better at agitprop than the natives. At least until they have to stand in line to buy a pint of milk.
To: RLK
Carter has always been a Christian Marxist.I think you may be right about that. He's certainly a socialist, anyway. If you boil it all down, Carter and Castro have a very similar primarty conception of the proper role of government. Carter just wants to see Castro tidy up some of the more unsightly features of his government -- the torture of dissidents and such. But things like the centrally-planned economy and state ownership of virtually everything are probably okay.

primarty = primary
