It's amazing how common it is for conservatives to have this shared experience of being a lone dissenter in a nearly mind-controlled liberal sea. It's almost like a conversion experience, or if you prefer, the scene in the Matrix where Keanu Reeves decides to take the red pill (or was it the blue pill? Forgot).

Maybe there once was a time when America was conservative and people felt liberated by becoming liberals, but that is far in the past as far as I can see, even in seemingly conservative small towns.

Ultimately I think it's a character building experience. It's also necessary for us to carry our convictions firmly with us if any kind of a conservative revolution, however modest, is going to occur.

Somehow I suspect that Michael Savage of the Savage Nation will be dissatisfied either way.

Unfortunately, I had to be 30 years old, before I saw what you now see, at half that...

I quit my job, decided to go back to school and get the college degree. At UC Davis, where I have 9 months to go, the liberal hypocrisy is nauseating. I end up in debates with the pro-PLO, pro-Islamic terrorism crowds at least weekly, usually daily.

I've been "reported" to the school administration for un-PC activities (the "Kill Arafat" T-shirt I wore at a PLO rally didn't help), I've been turned in to the local police (though they don't bother to take reports on things that aren't illegal), and continually harassed by various liberal zealots. I've got another meeting with the college Judicial Affairs this Thursday AM, for another attempt to use coercion to make me follow the PC-line. And if they kicked me out, I'd be out thousands of dollars...

Why do I continue to fight, you might ask???

Because it's fun, and I don't have to listen to blatant lies...

Don't give up, you're not alone! Have Faith, that others see and understand what you're up against...!
