I'd be more afraid of the crap being imported by the transnational corporations.
The effect would be more widespread and devastating.
We're much safer and better off controlling our own domestic food supply than importing foods from Third World nations.

How does caribou meat sound to you? We could solve our domestic food supply and our domestic oil supply problems all in one big hunt. No caribou, no reason not to drill in ANWR!!

I thought the evidence was that the pipeline would actually INCREASE the size of the caribou herd.

Meanwhile, FDA has wasted no time. Since January 10, it already has hired 250 food safety inspectors whose jobs it will be to monitor the food distribution process, including checking every single step in food's progress from the farm to someone's dinner plate.

BWAHAhahahahah!! Probably hired them from the laid-off airport screeners!!

All they need do is send their little Islamics out for training in fast food restaurants. Let's see .... 1,000 terrorists take jobs in MickeyD's, B.K's, Hot'nJuicy, T.B's, and chicken places all across the country.

Can you imagine what would happen?

You do have a point. A few years back I did some QC for a produce importer. Quite a few of the ships' crew members were islamics. They do have access to the products prior to off loading.

As for the federal inspectors.....well, the entomologists would look at maybe 10 boxes from each of 5 pallets and then leave. (We'd be unloading 1500 to 3000 pallets per ship per week). There were never any other Fed. inspectors there unless we called the USDA guys in to verify my inspection reports for insurance purposes. They'd spend an hour or so looking at the product, 2 hours writing a report, and be off to another inspection.

On an average receiving day, it would take me 12 to 16 hours to look at a representative sample before writing my reports. It would have taken me 3 full days to visually inspect everything. Trying to culture for every possible bacterial, viral, and fungal pathogen is not remotely possible, especially when dealing with perishable commodities.

My advice...... Grow your own, buy locally grown stuff in season, organic if possible, and at least, thoroughly wash everything you bring home.

I'm only surprised this hasn't happened already. Those fast food joints have 100% turnover every three months. They are hiring all the time and they'll take about anybody with a pulse. It would be nothing at all to infiltrate a few hundred terrorists into these places in the matter of a weekend.

The labor pool is already available. As per this happy thought from Middle East expert Daniel Pipes:

Islamists constitute a small but significant minority of Muslims, perhaps 10 to 15 per cent of the population. Many of them are peaceable in apearance, but they all must be considered potential killers.

How does 400,000 to 800,000 -- in our country -- potential killers sound?

They are already in place... muslims working at, and managing fast food places all over the usa.

Yes, we are on to them.

If the nation's food police agencies won't practice racial profiling, americans will.

Americans will boycott, out of fear for their lives, ANY restaraunt, that hires, trains, employs or promotes islamics, and arabs, in any capacity.

Same goes for them in banking facilities... where they have access to money that EVERYONE touches. IT is really bad in porland oregon... muslis everywhere... glaring and ominous.

We need to start opening some TRIAL refugee camps for potential mayhem activists attacking our food supply.. and other public arenas.
