Keep reading and you'll someday learn that the Bill of Rights was written for all US Citizens, regardless of what State they live in. WE ARE THE STATE! Our Govt. works for us! (supposedly) and if that scenario changes, then it's time for another fertilization of the 'Tree of Liberty' I think Mr. Jefferson called it.

I have seen (then Congressman) Schumer perpetrate outright LIES on camera, while conducting a Congressional Hearing!

Could his constituents demand his resignation for such an assault on his oath of office?

Read backwards (thats my link)

It's on this thread (that's my cite)

My source is the US Constitution which does apply to WE THE PEOPLE!

If you don't agree with that then please tell me where I went wrong, and my seventh grade civics teacher went wrong.

My source is the US Constitution

Which establishes a federal government subject to the restrictions contained in the first eight articles of the Bill of Rights.

Superficial research, not felonies. Some minor political value, perhaps.

Do you live in, or did you get your schooling in a State that did not ratify the US Constitution? Mine did, but they've still passed laws infringing on certain rights listed among those first eight amendments you mention.

Why is that? Can you explain? It seems that you are a smart guy with some knowledge of laws and such. I live in the State of New York, USA ! I'm an American, and I've always thought that the Bill of Rights and all other Amendments applied to all Americans equally. Isn't that so?

Have you ever sworn an oath to protect and defend the US Constitutional (Republic) against all enemies, foreign or domestic?

"But it is universally understood, it is a part of the history of the day, that the great revolution which established the constitution of the United States, was not effected without immense opposition. Serious fears were extensively entertained that those powers which the patriot statesmen, who then watched over the interests of our country, deemed essential to union, and to the attainment of those invaluable objects for which union was sought, might be exercised in a manner dangerous to liberty. In almost every convention by which the constitution was adopted, amendments to guard against the abuse of power were recommended. These amendments demanded security against the apprehended encroachments of the general government--not against those of the local governments." -- United States Supreme Court, Barron v. Baltimore 7 Pet. 243 (1833)

Understanding the Constitution is a necessary prerequisite to defending it.

Mr. Roscoe: was that meant as a reply to my 128?

Surely a learned individual such as yourself would realize that there are alot of young Americans out there operating in defense of the US Constitutional Republic, who don't fully understand the language of that considerable document.

As I asked earlier, Have you ever sworn the oath to protect and defend against all enemies foreign and domestic?

Any suggestions on how to banish Chuck Schumer from public office ?

Sure vote the bastard out! Look, when I lose the right to vote for my choice in elections then the revolution is the last option. The simple answer to gun grabbers is NOT TO ELECT them.

Explain state constitutions then.

Do you recognize that there are three branches to our form of government? In viewing your responses, I often wonder if you consider the judiciary branch as the Ultimate Ruler!

Our Founding Fathers warned of such Tyrants, and reserved that ultimate power to WE THE PEOPLE. "The State" is WE THE PEOPLE and all government (Fed or State) works for you and I.

Is that correct?

Do you always answer questions directed at other people, with demands of your own? Or is it just Roscoe's problems?

I don't answer for Roscoe. Explain State Constitutions if all must mirror the federal constitution. Hint, look at the 14th amendment that the founders explicitly rejected with the 10th amendment. The Soviet Union had a constitution that was in many ways very similar to ours. They also imposed it on all "states" in their "republic". That worked out REALLY well didn't it?
