Sent my faxes off earlier and pinged a few people on another thread about this. 245i is like a bad nightmare that won't end. The President and Congress are determined to shove this down our throats.

Drat it! I'm sorry. I did't see another thread. My search on Amnesty and 245i didn't show anything.

Sent my faxes and alerted others. Bush won't get my vote ever again.

No big deal. This was another thread about the Mexican military incursion over our borders. It's better to have a thread about 245i only. You were right to sound the alarm.

This was sooner than I thought.

How dare we put our ill-informed wish to preserve language, culture and sovereignty ahead of Mr. Bush's re-election hopes? Shame on us!
Hope the weather's nice next election day. Got some fishing to do.

THIS IS URGENT: Our inside sources on the Hill have learned that President Bush has succeeded in getting a reinstatement of Section 245(i) in the Supplemental Appropriations bill. This bill is expected to undergo markup by the House Appropriations committee as early as this week or next (May 9-15). It is extremely important that 245(i) be stripped from the bill during markup because it will be much more difficult to remove it from the bill on the floor of the House. Send a fax to Rep. Young of Florida, the Chair of the Appropriations Committee, and Rep. Obey of Wisconsin, the ranking Member on the Committee, urging them to vote against Section 245(i).
This is latest from numbersusa.com
There is also faxes there that will go out to your rep. in congress.
To all: you need to register in order to get the details and send the faxes.

If this passes, these newly legal illegals will be eligible for food stamps. I'm so glad that I voted for a compassionate conservative.

I wanted to vote for Buchanan, but was so afraid that Gore would be elected I chickened out. I won't make that mistake again! ;-)

I wanted to vote for Buchanan, but was so afraid that Gore would be elected I chickened out. I won't make that mistake again! ;-)Frankly I was solidly behind Bush until he uttered the following nonsense:
"Family values don't stop at the Rio Grande River," he said. "If you're a mother and dad, and you got kids to feed, and you're making 50 cents and you see someone in Iowa making $50, and you care about those kids, you're coming."
Since it's quite obvious that Mexico stops at the Rio Grande River, and that this "family values" bull has nothing to do with national sovereignty or border enforcement, well, that was it for El Rey Jorge in my book. What is going on right now is downright shameful.

What if they have good family values but vote 90% Democrat. Won't this still destroy our country?
The US senate is controlled by the Democrats because of the illegal vote. (Senator Reid beat Ensign in 98 because of the illegal vote.) Rush, is this a good thing?
