Once again ignorance disguised as knowledge. Both Bush 1 and 2 were in the INDEPENDENT oil business in WEST TEXAS NOT RYADH. Get it? I don't think you do. Their business relied on high oil prices to make DOMESTIC drilling viable. They were NOT in the distribution or marketing end of the process like EXXON and MOBILE that REFINED oil and loved low oil prices due to cheap imports. My God, get a grip, the Bush family has NEVER relied on Middle Eastern oil for their fortune beyond doing what everyone else did which was invest where the market actually existed. For independent operators the best thing that could happen is for an oil embargo and 70 dollar a barrel domestic oil.

That sounds like my grandpa. heh heh. But on a serious side, we are at war, but not on a mission to wipe out an entire race. That's what's being implied by a couple of people on here.

Pay attention to grampa, he gets alot smarter.
Ask him about Japan.

You are right. The manga was better. Oshii's interpretation of the manga was artistically brilliant and had a good storyline, but had the drawback of being derived from several different GItS chapters. Gooda did this with Ah! Megami-sama as well, taking Fujishima's tale of three Goddesses and a mortal and turning it inside out.

The movie was great, but you can't beat Shirow at his own game.

Funny how you never see a photo of this guy. He's obsessed with his privacy. The name is a nom de plume, btw. If you look at his early stuff, it's all line drawing and several copy layers using a copier machine. Intron Depot I is filled with this kind of stuff. But if you look at Intron Depot II: Blades, he's already made the transition to PhotoShop. The difference shows in his later work in Ghost In the Shell II: Manmachine Interface and his commercial art.

I'm really looking forward to GItS II: MMI, which I understand has already been sold for the movie rights.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

MSNBC gave some PLA fool at least 20 minutes of air time to spew his ideaology, not too long after the bombing happened. Disgusting.

I'm in favor of "spontaneous human combustion". How can this be arranged?

Paging Janet Reno. Ms. Reno, your services are requested in Ramallah!

Almost forgot about sterno. Great suggestion! HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa!

Send her there without a burka. They will all die from extreme nausea!

This is a classic coffee spitter! ROTFLMAO!!!

Thank you for the clarifacation! You are absolutely right, Bush would look like a fool if he asked Sharon to show restraint. I'm sorry I misunderstood my friend!

No problem. I think the fact that Sharon spoke from Washington speaks VOLUMES as to what Bush thinks about the situation!!! I really thing this is game, set, match. Lights out Yassar.

How about letting Bush speak for himself to find out what he really thinks instead of inferring what he thinks by where the Israeli Prime Minister chooses to have a news conference.

(05-08) 15:22 PDT WASHINGTON (AP) --

President Bush called Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's
condemnation of terrorism an "incredibly positive sign"
Wednesday. He urged Israel to consider the consequences
of retaliating for the latest suicide bombing.

"Israel is a nation that is a sovereign nation, but whatever
response Israel decides to take, my hope, of course,
is that the prime minister keeps his vision of peace
in mind," Bush said.

"You've got to want peace to achieve peace," Bush said.
He spoke at the beginning of a meeting with Jordan's
King Abdullah II.

As I said before Bush can speak for himself.
