I don't waste my limited resources trying to prove negatives. I assume the non-existence of things until they are demonstrated sufficiently to my liking to actually exist. Okay?

,,, of course that's OK. Isn't life all about making ourselves feeel "okay"? Proof of God's non-existence shouldn't be that difficult for someone with your advanced powers of reason. Once again, take your time.

To help me understand your position a little better, maybe you can tell me a couple of things.

Firstly, what really lights you up - what gives you hope?

Secondly, why do you defend the non-existence of God without making your own enquiry and cane those who do believe? Do you feel they may have something you don't have and the thought of that is something you can't manage. I can only assume this to be the case on the basis of what you seem to feel by way of your expressions, against the shortfall of substance you've offered so far.

He has a singular fixation for Judaic fetishism.

I tell ya, that sounds so cool, it really does almost seem like you are saying something connected to some reality or other. I suppose that is Nietzche's influence on you.

why do you defend the non-existence of God without making your own enquiry

Let me rephrase that, perhaps you will see the illustration: "Why do you assert the non-existence of Athena without making your own inquiry?"

How much "inquiry" should I devote to Athena? Or Thor, or a million other god-myth assertions, past, present and future to come?

,,, I'm only suggesting you have the integrity to do a little due diligence before striking out at the beliefs of Christians or keep your non constructive opinions to yourself. You don't seem well informed at all. You'll note that I haven't attacked your beliefs or non beliefs.

How much "inquiry" should I devote to Athena? Or Thor, or a million other god-myth assertions, past, present and future to come?

Can you give us a timetable for your attack on them?

I found this interesting quiz, I had not seen it before and did not know the answers but I was quietly pleased to find I got all the correct "Protestant" answers :)

I was wondering if others got a different mix of answers. Do Roman catholics get all the catholic answers? What do athiests make of it?

(From the very beginning, the Catholics are given all the right answers.)

I asked a legitimate question, you're side stepping it. Tell me how much effort should be put into each alternate god-myth. Apparently you have some way apriori of determining which ones are deserving of "inquiry."

I don't see how we can proceed to answer your question (did I do enough inquiry) until you can demonstrate how much inquiry should be portioned out to each and every god-myth, past, present and future to come.

,,, have you answered any of my questions since we engaged on this issue? Look back and you'll have to concede you haven't, if anything other than partially, answered what I asked you. You simply don't have answers.

I don't see how we can proceed to answer your question (did I do enough inquiry) until you can demonstrate how much inquiry should be portioned out to each and every god-myth, past, present and future to come.

,,, you need to enquire enough to know what you're talking about before you hit someone for their belief in it. Does that stack up? If not, we're probably better of disengaging in this conversation.

you need to enquire enough to know what you're talking about

Look, you're the one demanding one inquire before reaching a negative judgement. Since there are hundreds or thousands of past, present, and possibly future god-myths -- according to your own assertions, you must work your way through each one of them before selecting one, since by selecting one you negate the rest.

To select "Christianity" before devoting sufficient inquiry into EVERY KNOWN RELIGION, you should not advocate "Christianity" in preference to any other religion, since the Christian God denegrates all other compeititors.

It's not really that I expect you to follow your own advice -- I'm pointing out that it is IMPOSSIBLE to follow your own advice.

,,, settle down Precious! I'll get my crayon out....

Let's start out on a different tangent. What's your problem with people on this thread having God in their lives? We can't all share your view that there is no God.

Governments should not endorse particular religions.

I suppose Ozzy Osbourne CDs should now be banned...

(I'd like to see a Bark at the Moon poster in a divorce court.)

Governments also should not prohibit religious expression or infringe on free speech (even in religious literature).

The Ten Commandments are a part of Jewish LITERATURE.

Why do you hate the Jews?

Yes yes, we get your theme by now, you've repeated it a number of times -- anyone opposed to government endorsement of a specific religion is a Jew hater. Your rant has been duely noted.
