Wow! I just read your retelling of last night's events and I have to say that we FReepers are the luckiest people in the world to have access to such accounts as this one you wrote this afternoon! You were there, you took notes, you shared the facts with us. Without FR and people who post such articles (like you did), we would be stuck knowing only what the liberal media wants us to know. Thanks, friend!

He sure had geraldo studdering at the end
Israel has brought some this down on themselves
They had BiBi and then let carville's tactics sway them into ousting him .

Militant Islam, unfortunately is worse than Communism because it seeks to roll back the last millennium, to reverse the rise of Western Civilization by destroying the west, and the main engine of the West, the U.S.
And Jonah Goldberg was right on the money when he said Bush has got to end calling this a war on Terrorism and call it what it really is or should be A WAR ON MILLITANT ISLAM
Although Saddam is an exception since he is not religious
Ironic as somebody pointed out Iraq is probably the LEAST muslim and most modern country of the Arab states

As for "planting the seeds of democracy", we did that in Japan, but it was possible only after utterly breaking their will to continue warring. We did not negotiate and leave the people susceptible to demagogues saying that they COULD have won that war, and so start it up again. That's how we dealt with Germany in WWI and it was a mistake. This war on Arab terrorism must be as brutal and final as our war on Japan. Then the "seeds of democracy" have a chance. An interesting point that rings true. Thanks. I'll not forget it, as promoting "Democracy" throughout the world is one of the most noble causes.
