Quite a lot, I'd guess.

How about Joanie Laurer for the Wonder Woman role?

Spider-Man, Spider-man!
Does whatever a spider can!
Spins a web -- any size,
catches thieves just like flies!
Look out!
Here comes the Spider-man!

Can he swing from a thread?
Take a look overhead!
Listen, bud!
He's got radio-active blood!
Here comes the Spider-man!

In the chill of night,
at the scene of a crime,
like a streak of light,
he arrives just in time!
Spider-mad, Spider-man!
Friendly neighborhood Spider-man!
At the end, he's ignored,
Action is his reward!
To him, life is a great big bang-up,
wherever there's a hang up,
You'll find the Spider-man!

The theme from the 1964 cartoon.

Great stuff.

Judging from the commercial, there appears to be so much CGI graphics and special effects, it looks more like video game than a movie.

I have the same complaint with many "newer" movies. Personally, I don't understand the big deal about a remake of a remake or a remake of a remake of remake of a comic book. When people ask me, "Have you seen Spiderman", I say, "Yeh, 20 years ago".

Try as she might, Joanie (aka Chyna) just can't act. She is getting better, she wasn't quite so wooden on a recent "Relic Hunter".

Now if they could use her body and dub the rest...I'd agree with you. Right now, Lucy Lawless would be perfect.

Funny how DC was top dog in comics for years....and suddenly, Marvel is having their cake and eating it too. And we have not even seen the Fantastic Four yet....

Jennifer Connelly, yeah, that's the ticket.

Didn't she play the voluptuous, raven haired, blue eyed, breastfully talented romantic interest in "The Rocketeer"? If this is the same woman, then yes, by all means, she should play the part of Wonder Woman.

Linda Carter is a tough act to follow.

There are a few brief shots. I didn't catch any myself but my sister did. I think they took out some more prominant ones but I'm not completely sure.

Harry Osborn was played by James Franco

I did a search and found out he also played James Dean in a TV bio. Won a Golden Globe for TNT's made for TV movie. I thought he looked familiar.

It's not too hard to imagine a fight between Spider-Man and Harry Osborne where Harry says, "You're tearing me apart!"

How many references to other Marvel Spidey Villains did you all catch in the movie? I caught two, a reference to Curt Connors (The Lizard) who fired Parker because he was late for work again, and a reference to Venom, when JJJ asked if "Eddie" was getting any pics of Spidey. Did I miss any?

I didn't know much about Toby Maguire before this movie. During his interviews he talked about how poor he was, growing up. I can see, now, how he connected with the Peter Parker character so well, because he had alot in common with him.

Can you believe they're going to make us wait until May, 2004 for the sequel? Well, one way to look at it is they have 2 years to do a better job on the CGI effects.
