They must have these rules. Middle eastern women could never get pregnent if the men knew what they looked like.

I guess wearing something like this isn't an option, eh?

Middle eastern women could never get pregnent if the men knew what they looked like. My theory is that their culture simply lacks the self control needed to handle women. Apparently this practice of covering women started with Mohammed, whose wives were hit on by other men. He ordered them covered, and so this sick tradition was written into religion.
I imagine before this, their men fought and killed each other over women, lacking the respect and self-control needed to even be in mixed company without resorting to violence.
I also believe there are similar reasons behind their strict prohibition of alcohol, which is curious because distillation was discovered by their culture. Again, they just can't handle it without killing each other.

Middle eastern women could never get pregnant if the men knew what they looked like. Not so: many of them are strikingly beautiful. I believe it is more a matter of poor self-control (as freeeee pointed out), and pathological jealousy.

Your theories seem sound. Maybe they'll eventually get around to banning politics!

Maybe they'll eventually get around to banning politics! They already did. That's why they don't hold elections - they couldn't possibly have a peaceful one. Arab rulers don't seek the consent of the governed. They grab and hold power through naked violence.
