Thousands have left the homosexual lifestyle and I encourage you to seek the same help others have sought. Here are some links on the subject:

The stats support the article. Percentagewise gays are more likely to be pedophiles. Some gays have tried to post links that rebut this truth but have failed each time. Nobody is saying all gays are pedophiles... perhaps you should re-read the article.

This is common knowledge... it will help to arm those who oppose gay marriage and homosexuality as a spiritually destructive suicidal-choice based on the lowest of human desires focusing on the degenerated view of ones self, to such a level as to feel they are less than their ideal type for their given gender, thus becoming neither man nor woman but predator; sexual addicted zombies searching for meaning through sex to fulfill their vacuous lives of deconstructed ambitions and wrecked relations.... But then again, they are thinning the herd, less competition and a new segment market to be exploited to sell crap material goods.
I swear to God, sometimes I feel like I'm about to go Gandhi on the Left and start starving myself to protest their Stalinist behaviors.

As a gay male myself, I don't know what 'factors' (if any) contributed to my sexuality. The experts say the major factor behind homosexuality is environment:

I'm not talking about the article, I'm talking about the response to the article posted here. Every once in a while FR messes up and doesn't list the article to which we're responding. I have no idea why that happens, it just does, and it happened to two of your sequential articles so we don't know to whom you're responding. Perhaps you didn't realize it, but the original article was posted in late April of this year.
Did my post about how societal intolerance could exacerbate the problem make sense?
What if a pedophile made the same argument? Well, some pedophiles have already made that argument. I'll see if I can find it somewhere, but tomorrow - I'm outta here for the night.

Know/known plenty, and have reached the conclusion after watching, observing, and living as a human being. Life is difficult as a human as it is, but to abandon the physicality of you're human existence for some type of Peter Pan syndrome, and unwillingness to let go of childhood fascination with father/brother idolization will not achieve any spiritual Nirvana here on Earth. In fact I find my gay friends to be the most depressed, unfulfilled, worried (about various disease), and communistic (especially the lesbians). So, my experience points that homosexuality, is a cop out or a protest of one's path through life because of difficult and often lonely paths. It's not very complicated, because everyone is human and life is often hard for everyone to figure out.

But, I appreciate you being gutsy and writing on the forum, I am often the guy fighting the general flow of discussion on the FR. Stick with it, FR is a great place.
