The aftermath of the recent Vatican meeting of Cardinals, this recent post, and other situations in the Church has really shaken my faith in the bishops and cardinals. Not the Church, mind you, but the hierarchy. This sex scandal as well as the more larger problem of homosexuals in the priesthood is as bad as the Arian heresy.

CALLING ALL REAL CATHOLICS CALLING ALL REAL CHRISTIANS!
No offense, but we, the protestant sons and daughters of the Holy Mother Church can not be divorced from this battle. Maybe this abomination is coming upon us now so that we can finally see that such things as the praying of the Rosary ought never divide us so much as doing battle against Satan ought to unite us.
Regardless of the fact that no Priest has ever received me into the fold, count me into the battle.
Shalom.

The following is my email response to the Diocese of Cleveland -
Are you nuts?!!!??? What is proud about being so abominable that God destroyed Sodom and Gomoroa for it??? Are you proud of the mess that this has the whole of the Roman Catholic Church in??? I say that there is nothing to be proud about when it comes to dung punching - and that is what gay pride is about. If you are a part of the hierarchy of the Diocese of Cleveland, and you support this, then you better bend over, grab your ankles, have the Vasoline ready, and enjoy! While you accelerate the demise of the Roman Church in the eyes of the rest of the world.
And I signed my name with my email address

Excellent move, Diago. The Church must be purged of the evil element now within its ranks of clergy. The laity must now give clear direction to the clerics.
Try "Embarrassed," for a better headline.

Thanks for the ping, this is truly disturbing.

Yes this is pretty outrageous. I wish I could find the Biblical quotes to put in an email to send the bishop.
"Man shall not lie down with man"
And the Sodom and Gomorrah stuff.
I have read all of this but remembering where it is a definite problem.
Of course the Catholic Church has always put doctrine ahead of Biblical Teaching.
And I say that as a Catholic.
