You're wrong. Whether folks go to the polls or not, people get the government they deserve. In that way, politicians are absolutely representative of their constituents. You're argument suggests only that in many cases, the electorate are a lazy lot.

However, her staff is smart enough to know how to request huge amounts of information from the Pentagon which they then give to groups like the Internet Action Center, Z Magazine, National Resource Defense Council, Military Toxics Project, etc who are happy to use it to smear the pentagon.

I grew up between Briarcliff Rd. and I-85 near Shallowford Rd.
I....ahem....borrowed lumber from the constuction of LeMans to build a tree fort down the hill on Peachtree Creek.
A big night out was dining at the Dogwood Motel in Doraville.

All of whom and which are more relevant to Georgia than Ms. McKinney, whose district is a nightmare.

And the annoying thing is, if these non-voters were told they
are losing their voting privileges, they'd make the biggest stink.

I've recently moved to Decatur (Emory area) and I know exactly where that is, near Lakeside High School and Oak Grove.

Cynthia McKinney is my congresswoman and I called her office on Friday to complain about her recent comments. I think I got a cell phone because after the answering machine staffer identified the number as McKinney's the message inviting my comment was generic and specific to either Sprint or BellSouth. Quite an operation they've got going over there.

This woman is horrific. It's time for the good Jewish folk in the Lavista/Briarcliff/North Druid Hills area to start realizing that this woman is their enemy and mobilizing the troops in every arena from fundraising to voter registration drives.

If a shift in that community can be accomplished, perhaps an uneasy alliance with the rednecks in Tucker and the conservative Panola Road churchgoers can bear fruit. I think there are still enough conservatives in the affluent parts of Dekalb to elect a Sunny Warren but it's going to be a major struggle.
