Along with Armor, the Army Air Corps in WWII is an interest of mine.
Love the B-17 and would give almost anything to be able to fly in one.

My late Father was an Instructor for B-24's and later B-29's. He helped setup the B-24 School at the Pueblo Airfield. That was where he met Mother.

You know that the B-24 was just the box they shipped the B-17 in, right?

Good chance your dream could come true... There are B17s that "fly in" to the Oshkosh (WI) EAA Air Show every summer... and some that take tours. The EAA, I'm sure, has a website.. and lots more information. One of the biggest airshows in the COUNTRY. At the EAA, you'll see about everything that flew during WWII, including "FiFi", the only B29 still flying... lotsa warbirds.... of every size and shape. Good luck.... and Thanks.

Good afternoon, and doesn't everyone look great!
Of all things, I've had to do some work today - what a concept, so I'm playing catch-up and having a ball.

We have one that flies into the Hillsboro Air Show every year.
Just can't convince the wife that it's worth the $300 price for a ride, I always have to settle for the $10 walkthrough.
