1992 we came from Germany, to take a look to a house in a gated community in Laguna Niguel (next to the Ritz Carlton).The owner and his wife (Americans) took a walk, while the Real Estate Lady gave us a home tour. Luxury , pretty ocean vieuw, waterfall inside, the best from the best. When we reached the garage in the windowless, concrete basement we saw behind a simple screen 1 full and two smaller beds(one on top of the other!)and a tv. Our question, who is sleeping here, was answered, the Mexican maid and her two children! We were so turned off, that we left the house and never went back, to life in this community!

Seriously, I find it difficult to believe the ineptitude of the Libertarian Party is at the root of the failings of society. What I do find credible is that obsessive interference into the private affairs of everyone, opressive taxation, and ubiquitous militarization of government function leads to the kind of society where 12-year olds are kept as slaves. In short, I'm talking about the current situation in California.

On the other hand, you guys are offensive, clueless, two-faced, and irritatingly wrong-headed. In short, you are trolls, and the purpose of your postings is not to advance conservative values but instead to defame Free Republic with loudmouthed nonsense. You are abusers of this place.

There are laws against discrimination, which the L.P. calls for the repeal of, by the way.

That's because many of those laws are unjust. Forcing private groups like the Boy Scouts to accept gays is unjust, forcing people who do not like each other to associate is unjust, and the racially-motivated Affirmative Action laws are racial discrimination, by the most basic definitions possible! Government should have no authority to mandate opinions or coerce people to associate with each other. If I want to avoid short people with body piercings and bad breath, that's my business, not theirs. Once you give government the power to regulate preferences, you give them the power to control thoughts... not a good idea.

What?!? Are you saying I can't keep 12 year Egyptian old slave girls in my garage? What am I suppose to do with them? I can't keep them in the basement with the rest of my slave girls until they are of use as concubines, usually around 14 or 15 years of age. Please advise soonest.
