Sorry about not having an exact transcript, but I tried to summerize the report as closely as I could.
Leslie Stahl did a great job letting women have all the facts. And it showed that NOW really doesn't care about the truth

There is no question that NOW has done more harm to women than anything on the planet. Its tragic how they exploit women.

It's amazing how far they are willing to go to further their cause

I cannot understand WHY women "journalists" even use NOW....they are NOT representative of most women - IWF and CWA are MUCH better representatives, but, then, the press just does NOT get it.

You nailed it! I was very surprised at the content of this 60 Minute piece. It was very critical of the feminist movement, however they waited to long in the piece to mention the NOW gals.

By seeing this report, I also realized why they like abortions so much
It allows women to continue to go up the corporate ladder, unhindered by having babies along the way.
Having babies and feminism don't go together, I guess

My cousin married an OB/GYN. He virtually demanded she have their 1st child prior to her reaching 30. As he has with my wife and I and other women in the family (who are married). He cringes when he hears stories of women trying to have their first child in their late 30s. He says that "older" women are risking having children with Downs Syndrome and other such problems at a much higher rate than women in their late 20's.
It does seem from talking to him that women who "wait" to have children are taking far more risk than they are aware of.

In this case however it glaringly shows why they are not representative of the average woman.

The left never cares about the truth - just their agenda.

I also realized why they like abortions so muchAbortion is an industry and they make millions off of it. No matter to the killing of a child, no bother with the emotional damage done to women, no care for the dramatic increase in breast cancer. It is truly disgusting.

But this time they were clearly exposed.
3 women in their 40's were interviewed showing their disappointment
about waiting too long and never being told about it.
It is sad how many lives are effected by this movement.

Amen to that.
But in the end truth will always prevail.

My wife and I caught part of the piece on 60 Minutes as well. My comment to my wife, which she agreed with, is that these women who want a corporate career have made their choice. Period. If they want to be mothers, they should be mothers. If they want a corporate career, they should choose a corporate career. I'm sick and tired of the whining crying women on that show who put career first and then all of a sudden want to answer the maternity biological clock any way they can. The thing that really gets me steamed is that these children are going to end up in daycare anyway as mommy's precious career can't POSSIBLY be jeopardized by the annoyance of staying at home with their children.
Make a choice ladies--it's either the career or the child. But not both.

I have always maintained that first wave boomer feminists would find in middle age that the world was other than they held it to be: That rationalization is merely solipsism, that self-indulgence is not freedom, that narcissism cannot find the true self, these hard truths of life, truths that they would not hear, shall press apon them in middle age and be a crushing burden it old age.
What shall those who even managed to have children and yet chased some silly "career" through their children's childhoods say when faced with adult children's rage at their failures as mothers? How will they answer the hatred and scorn of an 38 year child? Blather on about feminist theory? Speak of "decisions?"
They will find a hollow and bitter old age.

Well said in # 15. Humans capacity for self-destruction is without measure. The women and girls who have bought the feminist lies have been tricked. There is no question that the leaders of the movement hate man. Many were tragically abused by some pervert and the root of bitterness continues to grow. Its no secret that lesbianism is prominent among NOW's leadership. I have never seen a content or at peace feminist; and they're attempting to make women as miserable as they are.

My wifes former boss is 38 or 39 and she and her husband are now trying to have their first child. She was embarassed and upset when her doctor gave her a "pregnancy for old women" pamphlet. Thats not its "real" name, but thats what it is.
To: Phantom Lord
It all seems so logical, but man thinks with progress, technology, etc. we can turn back the biological clock.
Interesting fact: women only have so many eggs in their lifetime.
And no... they cannot be frozen for later use.

I once attended (covered) a speech by Sam Donaldson at which he was introduced by Leslie Stahl. She introduced him by saying, "Sam Donaldson is the man Will Rogers never met."
