The BP CEO has said that the worlds largest proven reserve of oil, larger than anything in the Mid-East, is in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Texas. But it was put off limits by an EO from X42. If we were drilling our own oil we would be keeping all that money here in our own economy and we wouldn't care what the arabs thought or felt.

I believe that a sitting president can rescend a previous president's executive order. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd rather pay three dollars a gallon than depend on Arab enemies for oil. Let's embargo THEM! We'll get a lot more BANG for our buck! That'll teach'em a good lesson.
