Amen! And God Bless your husband and son. Please thank them for us. The day that President Bush got off Marine One and had to deal with his dog that was being disobedient and came back and saluted that young Marine was the day he sealed the deal for me. He respects our military, he respects the office he holds, and he respects his wife. Three items that go a long way in my book.

You are so right....everything the rats have thrown at GW hasn't worked....they can now sit back, do nothing and watch us destroy ourselves.
Where is that 11th Commandment anyway?

Thank you for a truly great quote. Strict ideological purity probably never wins an election. Whether the purists like it or not, a democratic election in a free country really is a popularity contest. Those unwilling to make any compromises just don't get elected, and they have no part in making the country's laws or shaping its policies. They may feel very superior, but they do no practical good in the world. No one has ever found a way to win a election with the most radical 1% of the vote.

So I think some of you who have been telling me to shut up about my criticism of Bush

Would you mind posting some examples of people telling you to "shut up"? That would go a long way in proving your point.

Those are the same type of arguments that were made during the election and for months after in order to justify the actions of GW. Well they are lame arguments and untrue besides. You don't deal for what's right by giving up honor and principles and kicking the constitution in the gut. That is sign # 1 that you have a problem when you see that going on. The truth is that GW is just another politician with a global agenda who has no more a patriotic character than Clinton. The sooner you realize that then the better off you will be.

Revel, perhaps I misunderstand you. Are you questioning President Bush's patriotism?

agreeing with Time

Yesterday he was agreeing with Broder.

Too bad he uses them when they support his position when normally he would dismiss what they say.

"And if you don't like it, there is Howards Phillips, Pat Buchanan, Harry Browne, Gary Bauer, and the rest of the uber-conservatives who you can start leg humping on."

At least they stand for something !! Those of you who adore Bush are just as blind as those who adore clinton. As for me, wrong is wrong no matter if my guy does it or your guy. I will not defend anyone that is wrong and Bush is wrong on domestic issues. I do not intend to vote for prez in 2004.

He has no more patriotism than Clinton. Even Clinton would have fought a war against Bin laden and his men. Does this war make GW a patriot or just a pretty good actor? While all of this has been going on he has managed to push through the most unpatriotic and unconstitutional bunch of crap that has ever been pushed through. The patriot act is actually an unpatriotic piece of socialist garbage. The founders would roll over in there graves if they could read that. The truth is that as horrible as this 911 thing has been....It has been used to destroy our constitutional rights. None of those rights being taken away would have stopped those terrorist's. Following the constitution and the law would have stopped them. To this day there is no real effort to do that. Only a show for the camera's. GW has more loyalty to China than to the USA as far as I can tell. It is called globalism. That is his vision and if you pay attention it is not to hard to figure that out. Personally I don't know why I even bother to point it out. Maybe it is just that it seems more people are waking up. But to tell you the truth -I gave up a long time ago. Let the Globalist have the place. There is nothing I can do about it except spend what little time is left being all upset about it. American citizens are gullible as can be. So the Globalist's are going to win no matter what I do any ways.

Newt Gingrich on H & C tonight (paraphrased as closely as I can...hopefully there will be a transcript later):

On the big issues he campaigned on, taxes, the military, social security reform, I haven't seen him give one inch. He did give up vouchers, but I still think he thinks the education bill is a pretty good piee of legislation. On CFR, sometimes you get in a position where there is no good choice, and you have to make a decision. Would I have preferred a veto? Sure. I think they made a calculated decision that this was not worth the cost on other issues, and I think that is a perfectly honorable decision.

Newt is now talking about the 60-day thing. Colmes is going on and on about the President signing this bill and basically showing me that the Rats are in their plan B. Plan A was if he vetoed it. Plan B is to use it to divide the base. Apparently a lot of people are falling into the rat trap.

It's always going to fall back to me. I'm going to be the one responsible for it all happening since I'm the point man

Are you talking about yourself here? Do you have that high opinon of yourself? You are the one that has been telling people (me) that they are not "true freepers" if they don't join the "dump bush" movement or continually pointing to the quote of what Bush "should say" in the Forum home page as if to say fall in line or go against the Forum's purpose. You feel you are taking heat? Hell TBL you are just a small growl in a very large pack. Get over yourself.

Newt says that any serious conservative who would walk away from a President who is the best chance we have had in over a generation to get reform on social security and taxes is not a serious conservative. He says that that if you disagree on issues, of course speak out and let your opinion be known, but he is the captain of the team.

Im watching too and you are correct...this is plan B...like I said on an earlier post, the RATS can now sit back and watch us self destruct without lifting a finger.

These folks don't want a president they want a king. It is so tragically ironic that they set themselves up as the "champions of the constitution" and then demand that it not be followed.

I'm beginning to wonder if Bush isn't the empty suit the Dems tried to paint him as being, who is firm on the WOT only because he has advisors who tell him to be. On other matters, unfortunately, he has other advisors.

How else do we explain his inconsistent behavior?

Still, better a suit full of empty than a suit full of Gore.
