So no problem, you stick with Armey's income/payroll VAT, the only proposed Flat Tax out there. I'll go for the NRST.

And neither one of us will get what we want. LOL

Fine show us the bill and a Congress to accomplish this.

I'm telling you what I believe, not what will pass. A NRST has even less of a chance of passing.

The only style of Flat Tax that has ever been proposed and the one in works today is an individual income tax with a $13,500 exemption with 19% rates with a Corporate VAT of the same percentage, And it still retains SS/Mediscare payroll taxes at 15.3%.

That's not a flat tax. Some are paying double.

Your flat income tax is only visible to those who choose file a return. Don't file the return thugs break down your doors just like now, when they can find you.

And there would be the same number of people that would black-market under a NRST.

ROTFLM(_|_) O!!. Tell me another good one.

So you don't think that there wouldn't be anyone that would try to avoid a retail tax?

Your entire blather, which you must have spent the last night composing is nothing more than one continuous of personal opinion about the inside of your head without one shred of supporting legislation or substantive support for it.

You don't have anything either, because a true flat tax nor a NRST has ever been in place.

The Only purely individual Flat Tax going is the NRST.

Which would cause smuggling and would be watered down by parasites demanding they get refunds because they don't have as much money as the producers.

H.R.2525 SPONSOR: Rep Linder, John (introduced 07/17/2001) A bill to promote freedom, fairness, and economic opportunity by repealing the income tax and other taxes, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, and enacting a national retail sales tax to be administered primarily by the States. Refer: http://www.fairtax.org & http://www.salestax.org When you have something concrete rather than your just imagination to counter it with, I'll be around.

The NRST has always been imagination also.

You need to calm down. You're getting all upset over an issue that is never going to improve much because we're surrounded by parasites who vote. I'm not the one standing in your way, it's the people who want you to pay a higher percentage that are.

You may continue to support your income tax all you wish.

I'll continue tilting at my own windmills.

Flat income tax.

Haven't seen a bill for one of those yet, let me know when there is one and we will discuss its merits.
