went to bed early last night -- woke up this morning to check out a nice relaxing Dose and all I can say is
YIKES !!
I think I'm gonna drink some "real" coffee insted of decaf today -- I want to try and stay up to check out tonight's Dose in real time :)
Rintense -- please do not be too discouraged and cynical -- yesterday was a rough day for me too (the continued, murderous bombings in Israel are really getting me down) -- but knowing that when I wake up I can come here to see some great pictures of our President (and his lovely wife) and read what they've done during the last day always cheers me up -- thanks for all you do and hang in there {{{HUGS}}}

OhioWfan, that was AWESOME!! I don't think some people can understand having a "love" of a President without thinking it's some perverted feeling. Clinton ruined that for everyone. I love Ronald Reagan and he was/is old enough to be my Grandfather, I love President Bush and he's old enough to be my Father!
To: KansasConservative
President Bush is my brother in Christ. Of course I love him, and Laura, and John Ashcroft, and LOTS of people!
To: KansasConservative
Clinton ruined that for everyoneXlinton ruined a whole lot of things for everyone, didn't he? ......including the safety and security of our country and the morals of our children, just to name two.

I was so glad to read your post this morning and see that all's ok there in Ohio. I am glad that you haven't let the remarks of the few who would love nothing more than to run Bush supporters off FR get the best of you.
I, too, love President Bush for the honest, decent, hard working president that he is and am so glad that he is here giving our kids someone to strive to be like. The one thing I know in my heart above all else is that he wants what's good for this country, politics be darned. While I would not blindly support any person, I will always give President Bush the benefit of the doubt and believe that the decisions he makes are good, unless proven otherwise.

WOW! I awoke this morn to 545 posts on the Dose.
I watched with great interest last night the press conference with McConnell and his legal team. I am very confident that we will win this battle in Court and put the issue of CFR to bed for good. JH2 is right. If W vetoed this, then we would have to continue debating it ad nauseum. With the legal challenge and eventual positive result, we will be done with it. And to top it off, little Johnny McCain's crusade will go down in flames.
I believe all but the hard money limitations will be thrown out. The legal team has both Republicans and Democrats on it. Go team go! This may be resolved sooner than we think.
Well, I'm off to the slopes. Have a good day all! Pray for W!

I read that also - here on FR - about the privacy thing. And, yes, it is good news.

Well, you know mountaingirl, it's living according to the old adage 'Consider the source.' If the source proves to be reliable, take the criticism to heart. Actually, even if the source is bad, my practice is to see if there is even a grain of truth in the criticism, and work on that.
In this case, there is no grain at all..... there is no truth in the criticism, the source is a sad little man, my conscience is absolutely free, and I still love the President! :o)

...it's living according to the old adage 'Consider the source.'
That was exactly what I felt. Any person who would come to THIS thread and call two people 'jackass' and another an 'ass,' when, according to him, all that happened was that he was told to 'take a hike?" Not too credible. It sort of reminded me of all of the reports of Gray Davis I have been reading about recently. He seems to have just lost it. Out of control. Wait a minute, maybe cactmh IS Gray Davis.

Wait a minute, maybe cactmh IS Gray Davis.LOL!! You may just be right about that, admiralsn!
To: ohioWfan
Not to mention that he insulted all of the fine women of this thread. As a male, even I know that that is a big no-no.
To: admiralsn
Smart man! :o) We
are different than you guys, you know!
But, as the French say
Vive la difference!.....that's about the only thing the French are right about!
But you know, he insulted some of the men too. What is that they say about the elevator not going all the way to the top? Applicable here, methinks!
btw, I'm still laughing at the Gray Davis comparison! The boy's lost it! LOL!

Okay. Whatever you say. I am very insecure and you are right. President Bush does no wrong and I was wrong to point out that he is not only changing his stance, he is signing a bill that is unconstitutional. I am sure that the USSC will save this erosion. Your little hen house clique is wonderful and I should not have responded to you when you told me to Take A Hike. Good day. kool aid drinkers

It is a really huge issue. He is great. The optimist in me as I alluded to, wants to believe there is a strategy in all of this. I just hope it doesn't come to hauny him later. Some third party candidate with no legit chance that puts another Clinto in the WH because he was able to divide the repuc base enough over this "one issue".
This is a large enough issue to do that. Alot of people are pissed. It would be awesome if GW got on TV and said look this is what I feel about this bill. I'm opposed to any violation of free speech. I said it as a candidate and early in my Presdncy. I say it again.
By allowing it to his desk and signing it, he has something a whole lot worse than his dads "read my lips". Who went from a 90% post war approval rating to losing. When will have someone with the temerity to call a right a right and a wrong a wrong on either side of the aisle?

I suggest 'Hooked on Phonics' to help you learn to read.......both what I wrote, and what you wrote. What you
think we were saying here is not remotely similar to what we really
were saying, and you apparently have no clue as to what you, yourself posted.
I'm not going to rehash the CFR issue. That has been done clearly and logically by many others, and you have ignored them. I will, however, reiterate that not one person on this thread believes that the President makes no mistakes, nor does anyone agree with him on every issue. Not one ........ It's called respect, cactmh........is that so difficult for you to grasp?
I suggest prayer to help you learn humility, grace and kindness, and to help you mature beyond your childish and repetitive name-calling.
I have no suggestions to help you learn to think clearly. Just try it some time.
Oh, yeah.......I've always hated Kool-aid.......even when they gave it to us in Bible School to wash down the graham crackers. What's your favorite flavor? :o)

Score that one for another hollier than thou, overly self-important FReeper.
