This is one of the most disturbing, revolting votes by Congress I have ever seen. Trashing our rights to free speech on political issues. If the courts don't strike this down, we live in a dictatorship.

Hey, don't forget that if libertarians hadn't spoiled two senatorial races,

Don't blame this on libertarians. The fault is Bush's and the GOPs.

The GOP stategy of ignoring the SERIOUS crimes the Clinton administration and the DNC committed the last 9 years only EMPOWERS the democRATS. A large part of the funding they had the last two elections was from ILLEGAL sources. TENS of MILLIONS of dollars came through channels like Riady, from places like Red China. This legislation does NOTHING to stop THAT. But does the GOP even want to stop it? We KNOW that MILLIONS of ILLEGAL dollars funded the democRAT coffers and even with some of those involved in that illegality caught redhanded (the Riady non-refund), the Bush administration and GOP has done NOTHING to stop it. You should ask yourself why?

The GOP knows that the liberals control the mainstream media and even much of the cable media. As a result, DemocRATS will continue to DELIBERATELY to keep their supporters in the darkness. But is the GOP doing anything to counter this? Even so-called unbiased sources like Fox News are guilty of not presenting all the facts and of regurgitating the lies of the left. Even the RNC website is guilty of filtering the news. How else do you explain their failure to even mention the Riady non-refund (which one would think would be a major issue). In fact, has ANY source other than a few internet news sites, that the "move-on"ers on this forum are now attacking, explored the circumstances surrounding the death of Ron Brown or Vince Foster? You expect us to believe the GOP is unaware of this? NO ... they know ... and don't care. Perhaps you should ask yourself why?

The GOP strategy of ignoring the influence of Hollywood and the school system on shaping future voter attitudes means that growing numbers of voters are infused with liberalism. It takes most people YEARS to overcome the programming they receive in school ... and usually only if they try to start a business. Yet I don't see much effort on the part of the GOP to change that situation. Instead the GOP is courting those groups like THEY are democRATS ... cooperating with them in disseminating liberal ideas. Perhaps you should ask yourself why?

The GOP strategy of ignoring illegal immigration is also a loser. By a LARGE ratio, immigrants are going to vote democRAT. That's a FACT that you ignore at your own peril. Yet we see the GOP leadership running towards that cliff. Ask yourself why.

My analysis is to expect more criminal activity from democRATS. Legislation like this will make such criminality even more important in terms of election outcomes. So either the GOP will have to become as CORRUPT as the democRATS to win ... or they will probably lose power. But maybe they know this. Maybe that is why they aren't even investigating the democRAT crimes? They plan to level the playing field. Maybe that is why they seem to be going along with electronically revamping the election process? Maybe they also want to make it impossible to even detect tampering with the voting process.

Does the President have any other options to stop this besides a veto?

Blanket pardon any acts considered unconstitutional in advance.

And furthermore, Instant gratification has been the ragethe last few years and ClinTon and his ilk was its biggest booster..

Hell the only gratification I would like now is about 10 capital cities getting nuked to send a firm message , with no ambivalence that We have had it with backward dictatorships and regimes that wouldnt bat an eye cutting our throats if they could get close enuf to.

In direct and wanton violation of their oaths of office, sixty U.S. Senators just voted to squash the First Amendment to the Constitution.

McCain is a ass

This is a possible plan that might occur that is being considered.

We've got to keep the pressure up, though. This is his base, and we need to keep the fires burning on our side, as well as spitting out scorn and defiance to the creeps who rammed this through.

And after Bush signs this miscarriage into law, I want to be the first to break this law. Who's with me and how can we do it?

we live in a dictatorship ...

This is not a rhetorical question ... who would be the dictator?!

Would it be the Republican President with a demo controlled Senate filled with RINOS ... or the press who created this mess ... and in 2004 ... would the dictatorship continue?! And even then ... what/who would it be?!

This is a mess ...

Furthermore, what about Bush's tariff's on steel? That was a decision aimed at the union vote. Thats fine, but a principled approach would be to try to reform an ailing industry instead of harming free trade.

This blanket amnesty will also allow hundreds of thousands of law breakers to cut in front of all my friends (about 8) who immigrated here legally and have to go through all that hard work. I previously mentioned that this is a national security breach. If we had even a modicum of protection we could have stopped some of those 911 terrorists. But this was all aimed at the hispanic vote.

I already spoke about CFR and Judge Pickering, which is aimed at cooling McCain and the media.

I just wonder when us Republicans who worked for him will have something for us? All of this adds up to making

Congress adjourns Monday. They will not reconvene until April 5. A pocket veto is possible.

All of this adds up to making political decisions for votes at the expense of good, common sense policy.

I've already pledged cash ($250) to FR if Bush vetoes... so did a few others on some thread a few weeks ago.

If GW signs this, I pledged $250 to FR, as that is where that pledge and all Presidential campaign contributions for the 2004 election will be going - FR.
