Get caught-up in Monaco's *idea* of "justice" & you'll find the last word to be, "No Hope."
The place is hopeless spider's web; moreover, I dare say if Mr. Ted Maher had known Monaco was the "Land of Nos" beforehand?
They could've just as well have offered him the crown jewels to go there, and he'd have politely declined.
But he didn't have foresight.
Rather Ted Maher thought Monaco a nation of civilized peoples embracing law & order.
For that mistake he now sits in a jail cell rotting due to a lousy, flimsy frame designed to save this smallish, cheap prickapality face.
Nice thing to be known for, eh Monaco?

Monaco Prosecutor Daniel Serdet in the days following Safra's death told the press there were two fires.
Yet Monaco gestapo forced Ted to sign their prepared false confession of one fire.
Obviously the plotters' left hand didn't know what their right was doing.
And Daniel Slanderet has his head wedged so far he can't see the contradiction.
To further disintegrate Monaco's credibility, its fire report states "multiple sources of ignition"
The principals keep changing their stories:
Two years eight months three weeks five days after the fact Sonia now remembers telling Edmond and Vivian to open windows and breathe through wet towels and to lie on the floor.
[Of course she must've known the windows were bulletproof and the steel blinds locked down.]
[And she must've known no wet towels were found.]
[And she must've known Edmond was sitting upright.]
Is Sonia lying now, was she lying then, or is she not and always has been a chronic, habitual, inveterate liar?
Serdet being such a king sh!t must know Princess Grace Hospital tested Ted for drugs with negatif negatif negatif results--but being a psychopath, Serdet simply ignores facts.

As for no exterior video tape showing the intruders--they didn't have to be on the exterior:
Monaco authorities detained and questioned two men of Arab descent in the parking garage under La Belle Epoque--and released them.
Monaco can't explain what two men of Arab descent were doing in the parking garage at that ungodly hour,
--coincidentally just as the penthouse was torched to cover the murder of one of the world's wealthiest bankers--
--coincidentally after his wife/widow changed his will to her benefit--
--coincidentally after she sent his security team away--
--coincidentally after she paid the sole free and living witness $100,000--
--coincidentally after she changed the couple's citizenship to Monagasque to control the investigation--
Add that the sale of Republic was approved that day
That Sonia pencilled in Ted and Vivian at the last moment
That Monaco police conveniently lost their emergency call tapes for just that one day
And Monaco's pre-tend de-fenders never bothered to subpoena the cell phone records
--never bothered to question the contradictory and confused (but well-paid) Sonia--
--never bothered to protest that Ted was bound and bullied for three days straight to get the false confession--
It's a tale of evil powerful people destroying an American family to cover international crime--

The groundwork for the murder of Edmond Safra was laid in the earlier part of 1999, culminating in Show Time December 3.
Recall that two sources including the Russian Journal cite the chief prosecutor of Geneva saying Safra was killed for cooperating with the FBI regarding the laundering of $4.8 billion in IMF loans to Russia through Safra's Republic.
Monaco's chief inspector Olivier Jude is then put through the FBI National Academy ten-week course at Quantico:
The FBI Academy is located on the United States Marine Corps Base at Quantico, Virginia. The Facility, which opened in the Summer of 1972, is situated on 385 wooded acres of land providing the security, privacy, and safe environment necessary to carry out the diverse training and operations functions for which the FBI is responsible. The Drug Enforcement Administration also has their training academy at Quantico, Virginia.
The main training complex has three dormitory buildings, a dining hall, library, a classroom building, a Forensic Science Research and Training Center, a 1,000-seat Auditorium, a chapel, administrative offices, a large gymnasium and outside track, along with a fully equipped garage. In addition to the main complex, there is a mock city known as Hogans Alley, which consists of facades replicating a typical small town. The Hogans Alley facades are primarily used for FBI and DEA New Agent Training, while behind the facades are fully functioning classrooms, audiovisual facilities, storage areas, and administrative and maintenance offices. Just beyond Hogans Alley is a 1.1 mile pursuit/defensive driving training track. The extensive firearms training provided to all FBI/DEA and other law enforcement officers is conducted at the indoor firing range, the eight outdoor firing ranges, four skeet ranges, or the 200-yard rifle range.
The FBI Academy is a secured facility and, as such, is not open to the public for tours.
Monaco Chief Inspector Olivier Jude later figures prominently in the seizing, binding, sleep-deprivation and threat-induced coercion of Ted's signature on the police-prepared French-language false confession.
Monaco Chief Inspector Olivier Jude is also complicit in the kidnapping of U.S. citizens Heidi Maher (Ted's wife) and Heidi's brother Todd Wustrau, and the theft of their U.S. passports--in the absence of any legitimate investigation and for the sole purpose of threatening Ted into signing.
Perhaps Jude learned at the academy about planting evidence: Monaco police "found" a bottle of lidocaine--which had been ordered by Sonia Casiano-Herkrath, Lily's nursing supervisor whom she paid $100,000 in "confidentiality fee". Jude did not check the bottle for prints. But the pre-tend de-fenders do not pursue this breech of procedure.
Ted had as patients the twins of Harry and Laura Slatkin. (Laura runs the scented candle business of interior decorator Howard Slatkin, her husband's brother and Lily's favorite designer per Dominick Dunne, "Mystery and Death in Monaco", Vanity Fair, December 2000.) The Slatkins leave an expensive camera which Ted returns and the Slatkins then recommend Ted to Lily for hiring.
Though Howard denies working on the penthouse renovation in 1999, it can't be denied that his and Laura's candles were there (ads say he makes them and names them for clients). And the decorating is noted in the fire report as having prevented any manual opening of the steel roller blinds.
Renovations are complete July 1, 1999, the day the burglar alarm is disconnected per the head of the firm Monaco Securite. No one but the Safra's could have ordered this, and Edmond was deathly afraid, leaving Lily as the likely one, but it could be cleared up if Ted had any real defense attorneys to investigate.
Ted is hired in August. He was planning on going back to his wife and children and job at Columbia Presbyterian in January (making Monaco Chief Prosecutor Daniel Slanderet's fraud even more preposterous). He was pencilled into the fatal shift at the last minute by Lily's paid agent Sonia.
A trap door was installed from the nurses' room to the attic where the new separate air handling equipment was installed. Hence Edmond "asphyxiated" while Lily did not.
She had been busy changing his will to her benefit--for which Edmond's brothers and sisters lawyered up and fought her--unsuccessfully it seems, as all the Monaco rulings seem to have gone her way. My, how lucky.
(As lucky as having her second husband shoot himself TWICE IN THE HEART to leave her two hundred ten million.)
Lily sent the security away.
Lily changed their citizenship to Monagasque to make Monaco in charge.
Monaco's fire report notes a sudden conflagration at 6:00 a.m.--an hour after Ted was rushed to the hospital.
Monaco police find and question--but release--two men of Arab descent in the parking garage below the penthouse.
Henry Kissinger said Safra's death was "a cruel and vindictive act".
And so is Monaco's frame-up of Ted Maher to cover their own asses.
