Do you really believe that or were you being sarcastic?
10) He answered, "I heard you in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid."
11) And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"
12) The man said, "The woman you put here with me--she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it."
God NEVER told Eve not to eat from the tree. He told ADAM and it was Adam's responsibility to make sure Eve didn't eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge.
In Ephesians 5:22, Paul makes it clear that the husband is the "Christ" of the family, the "Priest." He is to be the leader, keeping his wife holy.
Check it out yourself.
BTW, my knowledge of Genesis comes from time I spent in a Southern Baptist bible study. Real feminists, those Southern Baptist, don't you know (/sarcasm).
Why do you have to call names?
Are you a Catholic? It would explain your lack of knowledge about the sin of Adam (and maybe the Bible in general). (I say that because I was Catholic for 44 years.) Note: Original sin came from ADAM, not Eve.
Like Woody said in love and death: Yes, but as meaningless experiences go, it's one of the best.
Since he meant to inflame, i merely granted his wish. I am, however sorry, if you took offense.
sounds like a threat..
It is great to see this generation come into its own.
Born in 1959, I am grouped demographically with the Boomers, but philosophically no two things could be more different than my philosophy and that of the Boomers.
I hope you seek out others in your age group who will overcome the biased, anti-American education you received at the hands of the corrupt Boomer education establishment.
Pick up the Declaration and the Constitution as if you had never heard of or seen them before.
Read them very carefully; they were not written for lawyers or congressmen, they were documents targeted for you, the layperson, coming of age, two hundred and thirty years after the writers wrote them.
They wrote them for this simple reason:
If America were overtaken by corrupt individuals, they thought, either by revolution or by attrition of the good persons in America (both of which are going on right now);
those evil persons, who would try to subvert, hide, or corrupt the intention and specific law of the Constitution;
then some virtuous person or persons in the distant future (that would be YOU and your generation),
would pick up these documents and read what freedoms you were LEGALLY ENTITLED TO INHERIT FROM THE FOUNDING FATHERS,
in spite of all the efforts of the intervening generations to rob you of this inheritance.
You need only be literate enough to read these documents, educated enough to establish their authenticity,
and bold enough to reclaim the nation for yourselves and for your offspring (your "posterity").
I pray that you and your generation will be bold enough, literate enough, and educated enough to do this.
Because our country, a wonderful gift from God, the likes of which has never been seen on earth, is in grave danger of dissolving away.
Restoration of the Constitution, and of our nation's collective faith in God, will restore it, and quickly.
Otherwise, we face the fate of the ancient Roman Empire.
So, if you and other members of your generation are searching for a cause, and tired of the torpor of materialism, agnosticism and socialism, and sick of the America-haters who claim to be its citizens,
man, you have found a great cause for your generation to champion: the renewal of this country.
The founding fathers have been waiting about a hundred years for you dudes to show up and start kicking ass and taking names.
Good luck, God bless you.
Regards, caddie
Very good of you to offer an apology, even though it wasn't necessary. It speaks well of your character.
More like wishfull thinking.
