It doesnt pay to answer a fool such as yourself. You have created your own little world in which you hide. Cringe little man.
You really don't read well when you're excited.
The "quote" was an assumption that gave th President the benefit of the doubt that he wouldn't legalize illegal aliens. The headline made a claim that the article didn't support.
Was that an unreasonable assumption?
Is it true that President Bush wouldn't legalize Illegals?
I simply worked with the assumption that he wouldn't, in accordance with the headline.
Then, assuming that the headline was true ("Bush says he won't legalize immigrants") I made a conditional statement:
If the Senate approves and Bush signs the 245(i) modifications, we'll have a mini-amnesty for about 200,000 illegals, against the will of the American people.
And we'll also have a liar in the White House by the name of George W. Bush.
Note the emphasis on the word If in my conditional statement.
This is a logically valid statement. Whether it's true or not will depend on the outcome in the Senate, and whether President Bush actually promised not to legalize any Illegals.
Do you know the difference between logically valid, and true?
Weren't you the guy who said he wanted his logic above a Jr. High level?
Here's your chance.
Look I've mentioned HR 1885 many times in my posts as being the bill that the house passed last week. To hair split on what Section 245I represents is frivolity on your part. And as for the latter...PROVE IT. I'll take the meaning of entering "without inspection" as a nice way of saying entering ILLEGALLY.
Candidate GW Bushs Campaign Finance Proposal
Sounds a whole lot like what has just been passed.
How about the promise to the American People that the 1986 Amnesty for Illegals would be "one time only."
Whether or not Bush made Amnesty pledges in the campaign, isn't the 1986 promise more sacrosanct?
If I thought you cared even one whisker for the law abiding immigrant you say is getting pushed to the back of the line this wouldnt be so funny. Legal or illegal, no matter, you just dont want immigrants taking away your job opportunities in the fruit and vegetable fields.
It is incredible that a president would endorse a policy so broad and pervasive so as to permit terrorists free capability after 9/11.

Ok now, try to keep up here.
This is an actual copy of the article being discussed.
Ok, ready?
And now what Saber said:
"There's actually no direct quote in this article to support the headline (remember that part), but let's give the President the benefit of the doubt momentarily, and assume that a true "Bush says he won't legalize (illegal alien) immigrants" quote was hastily omitted..."
"If the Senate approves and Bush signs the 245(i) modifications, we'll have a mini-amnesty for about 200,000 illegals, (That's way less than three million, isn't)
OK, I'll wait...
Told you!
Let's go on.
"...against the will of the American people."
OK, stop...Bush said that he wouldn't grant amnesty to three million, Saber's worst case scenario seems to be at somewhere around 350,000.
"And we'll also have a liar in the White House by the name of George W. Bush."
Now, why would Saber call the President a liar for telling the truth?
Bush (George W) made that promise?
Source please.
"Whether or not Bush made Amnesty pledges in the campaign, isn't the 1986 promise more sacrosanct?"
Sacrosanct?
Please!
Fool, why should her kids leave. They are American citizens with just as many rights as you or didnt you know that either. God the level of ignorance on this website is truly amazing. Didnt some of these people complete junior high? No wonder they are so frightened about immigrants taking their jobs.
1) Bush ran on a platform of school choice and vouchers yet he nevertheless signed Ted Kennedys education bill that excluded both vouchers and school choice and increased federal involvement in our school system...precisely the exact opposite of what Bush campaigned on.
2) Bush in a response to a question about illegal immigration during his campaign said that he would "protect our borders". Do you honestly believe Bush is protecting our borders?
3) Bush said over and over that he was against the McCain/Feingold Campaign Finance Reform bill. Yet, just last week he said during a beltway roast of Tom Daschle that he was going to sign that bill. Do you honestly believe he won't sign that bill?
Puffing on our crack pipe again are we Buckeroo?
Do you know me? Yeah, I'm just a mean ol' vegetable picker that got displaced by a Mexican last month. LOL. You guys are a trip.
Because I didn't. You missed the point, and missed your chance. Logic is beyond you tonight.
You are not interested in hinest debate, as your next post will also show.
