Matt's dad picked him up from school to take him to a dental appointment. Knowing the parts for the school play were supposed to be posted today, he asked his son if he got a part.

Matt enthusiastically announced that he'd gotten a part. "I play a man who's been married for twenty years."

"That's great, son. Keep up the good work and before you know it they'll be giving you a speaking part."

You'll find everybody at the Canteen LOVES to have fun, but then there is the serious side of us, and that is Our Military, which we respect, admire, mourn with, and most of all SUPPORT 24/7....

You have come to a wonderful place, and I would like to introduce you to Beamer, he's one of our mascots.

Beamer is named after Todd Beamer and is a big LOVABLE Lug of a St. Bernard and has the run of the place. He likes to get into lots of trouble around here (don't ask about skunks, LOL)

I doubt it, Dave. Seriously, I have had several occasions to request certain help from him, and what do you know? The man is incapable.

He called me one time from Wash, DC, right after he had pulled some shenanigans on the House floor to get my opinion. I told him to "grow up and stop behaving like a child." He was throwing a tantrum, trying to delay a vote and I really let the man have it with both barrels. I don't think he would expite anything for me except extradition papers.
