..Headin' for church to thank God for His hand upon our land, and asking Him to place it especially upon all our men and women deployed around the world in the name of Enduring Freedom. ..What a great way to start the day.
Have a great day, Lady X. A truly great day.

I saved your doggie gif from yesterday because she looks like my little Daisy Mae. If you click on her, she has a song in her.

Hi Chance, I sure will pray for your family. Traveling and being away from loved ones is very hard. I will pray for their safety and that they will be safe on their trip.
I know what you mean too about missing them it is so hard to be away from those we love so very much.

I enjoyed that, thanks.
May I welcome you to The Canteen. You will find lots of really fine folks, great patriots, and supporters of our Veterans and currently serving service personnel. This is a fun place to be with a very serious purpose.
I hope you will visit again soon and often.

Oh, daisy! I new you were preparing a real feast for the holiday, but you have overwhelmed me. That is so delicious. I realize that lamb stew is traditional St. Pat's fare, but personally, I do hope you have a beef stew there, too. I am still stacking my corned beef sandwiches and I am so glad you added Kosher dill pickles

Faith 'n' begorah, 'tis a great grand party we've had this last two days...! Aye, and you'd think the entire world had become Irish overnight!
Well, then, I've certainly missed my FRiends here at the Canteen. I didn't know how much I've come to enjoy the company, until I stayed away for a while (2 days!!)
We went up to Tucson yesterday for a day of shopping and theater...we caught Debbie Boone in 'Anna and the King'...what a wonderful production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic! It was after midnight when we finally returned home, and up at 5 to get ready for church. It was our turn to provide goodies for the Sunday School class, and we turned out 3 dozen cinnamon rolls before heading out the door. The best part is, none of it came home! There's satisfaction for ya'!
