I was surprised at the openly 'progressive' nature of the faculty of USF while I attended. Got me wondering what kind of religion they taught at jesuit seminaries, as it didn't seem to resemble anything I'd ever learned in Sunday School.

The Vatican cannot ignore their outrages forever, especially as costly sex abuse lawsuits (the Jesuits settled in 2000 with a seminarian who accused over a dozen Jesuit superiors of sending him pornographic cards and asking him to perform sex acts on them)and lay backlash reveal the modern Jesuits as a chief source of degeneracy and dissent in the Church.

Well if the POPE would quit running all over the world and pay attention to what is happening at home this wouldn't happen

Don't donate to your school if they are unacceptable. Make sure you tell them why you can't give them money. The school can't do everything it wants with impunity if it has no money. USF donations starting falling significantly last year.

Catholic colleges are meaningless any more

In general, that is true. If you want more information on why that has happened, do a Web search on "Land o'Lakes". There are a few good Catholic universities/colleges. A short list includes Thomas Aquinas College, Franciscan University of Steubenville, Christendom College, and (contrary to relatively recent history) Catholic University of America.

What the hell are you talking about?

The article states (or implies if you prefer) pretty much that the worldwide Jesuit order is on the verge of collapse because the American Jesuit branch is full of homos and communists. I can see now how the myopic focus of the article may be difficult to notice when one's self-centered, obese and materialistic. It's hard to get outside yourself, isn't it?
