I believe these guys see conflict and violence between these two groups which is not supported by the data. If they were assimilating you would expect to see the same thing uncovered here. Why do they do this?

I read clan of the cave bear and know why You know the rules -- you must now tell us why.

I'd like to know what methods were used to determine the dates.
I would not count on cooperation. We can't even get along with our own kind too well, much less the doubtless more brutal Neannies.

Did Humans and Neandertals Battle for Control of the Middle East? It appears they still are. Maybe not though, even the Neandertals would be smart enough not to do suicide attacks. Besides, by all reports, Neandertals were real mellow folks.

doubtless more brutal NeanniesI doubt it. Nothing that swims, flys or walks is more brutal than Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Certainly we carry a grudge longer. Ask the European wolves, oh too late there aren't any, haven't been for centuries.

Neandertals were real mellow folks. As exemplified by Ringo Starr.

Nothing that swims, flys or walks is more brutal than Homo Sapiens Depends on your definition of "brutal", I guess. What's that insect? You know, the one that paralyzes it's prey and then deposits eggs inside of it. The eggs hatch and the newborn feed on the alive, but motionless, prey. From the inside out. Yikes!
And male lions will kill a hyena on sight. And not for food.
It seems to me that all creatures can be brutal.

Does this mean there has to be the establishment of a Neanderthal state?
