Yes, it is shameful that politicians tolerate and ignore anarchy in the urban ghettos out of fear of being labeled a "racist." There are parts of Los Angeles into which the police won't even go these days.

I just wish those in government would get over trying to be "politically correct" and "sensitive" and have the backbone to oppose the thugs who break the law, regardless of ethnicity.

Is everyone really blind enough not to be able to see where being more concerned about not offending people and ignoring real problems is leading!!?

All this outrage..all this new scorn. 3 months from now, it will be foregotten by most on this board. All the keyboard commanders can bitch all they like, but many here knew that Bush was not a true Conservative. Some simply don't like admit it. And for those touting "I aint voting for him next time"..tsk, tsk...At this point, were simply voting for the lesser evil when it comes to Presidential elections..

If you get a chance, maybe you have, listen to The Terry Anderson Show Sunday nights 8:00 PST. He is the one man who is NOT politically correct regarding the illegal immigration disaster. The man is unbelievable the way he tells it like it is, and it's too bad he wasn't on a nationally syndicated program. If anyone could wake up the population and change the pols thinking in Washington it's him.

Is this a radio show? If so, would you know what station?

Yes, you can get it through the internet radio stream. You'll need the Windows Media Player. If you click on the blue link to my previous post (The Terry Anderson Show), that will take you to KRLA's web site. When Mr. Anderson comes on, just click the link where it says Listen Live.

Well said, Joe.

Yes, since all the multi-millionaire politicians and VIPs have luxury estates on a bluff in Malibu, who cares about the flood of poverty and crime invading the rest of the L.A. Basin.

After all, who is going to make their beds and tend their gardens if all of the illegal Mexicans they hired for pathetic, unfair wages get deported. Then they might be forced to pay competetive wages...let's not forget that Malibu is a long, long way from East L.A. They don't have to live anywhere near "the help."

Hey carreon, I see you're back to give us the comic relief we so desperately need in these trying times.

So pray tell, how do you think Mexicans would like it if 10 million Anglos illegally invaded Mexico, demanded and got welfare, bi-lingual education, affirmative action, and all kinds of government benefits including citizenship all in the name of "fairness"?

Don't have the answer? Well you're in luck because I'm going to answer it for you. It wouldn't happen because every single nation in the world, including the UN would condenm us as imperial racists. And we wouldn't want to do it anyway. Who wants to live in a third world hellhole?

They're WORTHLESS on the issue. Rush, Sean Hannity, etc. The only talkshow hosts that I have heard say anything are Terry Anderson and Michael Savage. I was listening to Sean Hannity a couple of days ago, and his primary focus is on the Democrats and Tom Daschle. I thought, who cares! Our nation is about to commit national suicide, and this guy is wasting valuable airtime talking about insignificant things. I don't get it.

Ah, but you do get it. You've actually answered the question: the purpose of people like Rush and Hannity is to waste our time and to keep us from discussing the important issues. They're the media wing of the GOP establishment, which effectively means the neo-cons and their allies. Their purpose is to keep those of the sheeple of a conservative persuasion on the straight and narrow - that is to say, on the "conservative"/GOP plantation. That's what they're paid to do. Very well paid.

It's not only a problem in Southern California. Certain sections of Queens, NY and Long Island are having the same problem.

There's a very definite pattern being repeated now from recent History. As a Nation we're being Guided into taking on a semblance of US against all other races.

By that I mean the groundwork being put into place by --- "Arabs are the Enemy, gotta get 'em all!", "Mexicans are Invading the U.S., Deport them all", "The Chinese are gonna Nuke Us, get ready to Nuke Them!".

It worked for another regime about 70 yrs ago. And I'll specify right now --- We DO need to control our immigration, we DO need to quit arming and aiding our enemies, and we SURE have to quit playing World Cop.

But our problems that exist right now have been Created! As we all know, none of this importing Iraqis that we fought, opening the floodgates for Mexico, or losing our Nuke and Missle Secrets to China makes any Sense. We also seem to be having more Black Community unrest because of real incidents. Unless you look at a Destabilizing Entity as the central guidance giver.

We're Set-Up to become a serfdom/Principality of a World Governance Committee, and we'll have no say about it.

Just some rambling :-)

Not all of them live in Malibu. There are a whole lot more in Newport Beach, Palos Verdes, Corona Del Mar, Laguna Hills, Bel Air Estates, Beverly Glen, Coto De Caza, just to name a few others.

As I said, the politicians and politically connected and the rest of the rich elite have put up very tall and strong finanical fences in Southern California. They wont wallow in it like the rest of the hard working, average Americans will have to. Bet the rent.

Did you say you lived in San Diego Joe? I was there in 1980 and what a beautiful city. The weather was great, like Phoenix. You know, the Eagles were singing about California being a paradise and how it was up filling too fast. That was way back in 1976. I wonder what Don Henley and co. are saying now?

I am very familiar with Beverly Hills in that I live just a few miles from it. You are right about the place...you see two types of cars: beat-up trucks with lawn and construction equipment in the back and then Mercedes, Jaguars, Bentleys, BMWs and Lexuses.

You're right about your concept of "tall financial fences." In Palos Verdes, the cost of a 2500 sq. ft. home with an ocean view is $700,000. That's the "entry-level" home cost in Palos Verdes, not the "rich area" of Palos Verdes, where houses can cost $5 million and more.
