Thank you for flagging me.
T'is very well written.
Methinks if the rest of the novel is as good as the sample, you may sell very well.
Good luck!

"...it is impossible to put a big enough security perimeter around all of the tyrant's henchmen."That's why they are trying so hard to confiscate the 50BMG rifle and that nasty LPI (Limo Piercing Incendiary) ammo.
To: wcbtinman
They don't have to only worry about .50s, they need to worry about everything down to .22LR.

I only saw one problem, Alvin is a Bud man (serves him right).
And nothing would make me go out and buy a sniper rifle faster than someone assaulting my family. Oh wait a minute, I already have one.
I said that for the moles...
It's a good read Travis McGee. Even though I think I know what's coming next, I can't stop.
Honestly it's a hot topic/concern and your story hits home.

Well I'm really hard at work cranking out the pages. I hope to be finished by summer, and after that, publishing....who knows.

Am I a bad guy for seeing the oldman as a hero?
When I was in the army in 1974 there was a whole platoon of Puerto Ricans next to our platoon. They couldn't speak english, but when I held a playboy out the window and yelled mucho machachas, they knew what I was talking about.
I'm not saying anything bad about Puerto Ricans, they got screwed by the U.S. pretty good, when in the early 1900's America passed the law there that said unless they owned over 500 acres they couldn't vote.
There were plenty of other nationalities being trained, besides all of the ones we train in their own country.
It will be hard to know what we will be up against. I expect them to be wearing our uniforms and no baby blue helmets, to keep us confused. And all the DOT buildings and weigh stations on the interstates to be used as check points. That will insure that we can't congregate in a trouble spot, such as Klamath Falls.
Does anyone know if those emergency space blankets hide our body heat from satellites?
Just curious.....

I don't think the space blankets will work, thermal imaging will just see the heat leaking around the edges, plus the shiny metallic space blanket itself is so different from the surroundings, that it stands out itself like a sore thumb. To hide your heat, you need to get behind or under something that blends with the surroundings: thick brush, a dugout with dirt cover overhead, a wall etc. Even a glass window is opaque to thermal imaging.

It translates as, and all you have to do is copy and paste on notebook or even a reply box like this one.
I wonder if anyone see's this in the right font?
If you don't have wingdings then its gonna look like Times New Roman like everything else on the internet

I have Wingdings loaded...
"Font" was a play on words to let you know I read it... In spite of being Wingdings ;-)

Then are they lying about seeing images in caves in Afganistan?
I knew I would have to camoflauge the space blanket, just figured it would be easy to carry.
The police helicopters in my city look into houses with their infared cameras and know what rooms you are in.I'm sure they are only concerned about our safety.
Peace
