I will say this also in his defense and U2's...they put on the most moving tribute and greatest half time show I have ever seen this year at the Super Bowl. I have it off of Morpheus and watch it at least once a day. Just gives me chills when the names start scrolling from 9-11 during MLK and Where The Streets Have No Name.Absolute perfection that performance was.

You have a point. But being human, having foibles, and making incorrect choices in life is endemic to the human condition. Whatever happens when I pass from this world (and I hope that process somehow makes the Darwin Awards) I am prepared to pay the price. And I am reasonably sure that He'll just send me back here again anyhow. Probably as a Yemeni cricket.

The new axis of evil:

Bono (L), of the four-time 2002 Grammy award winning band U2, meets with Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) at the U.S. Capitol March 1, 2002. Bono was in Washington to meet African-American leaders, religious groups and debt-relief campaigners to rally support for his cause of relieving third world debt. Photo by Molly Riley/Reuters
