Ugh.- Terrible way to spend a Saturday... Time to get away... Somewhere pure and good. I recommend Lord of the Rings to cure this problem!

"...I'm glad I'm a guy..." LOL!
And one of the other alternative states of being, that of simply being dead, that doesn't compare badly to this either.

Interesting, albeit very long article.
I got a kick out of the girl who talked about the "rules" that her clique follows and the childish, yet somewhat logical reasons behind these rules.
As a male, I couldn't relate with most of this article, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Brings back memories of my youth. There was a group of Queen Bees (I really like that term) and everyday they would dress the same. If one wore a skirt, they all did. If one wore a ponytail, they all did.

BUMP for the nerdy bookworm girls in school. They are always the nicest ones.

Because it's not usually the victims who cry; it's the aggressors, the girls who have something to apologize for. And sometimes, yes, it's relief on their part, but it's also somewhat manipulative, because if they've done something crappy, the person they've done it to can't get that mad at them if they're crying. Plus, a lot of the time they're using the apology to dump on somebody all over again.'' I'll say this...if my daughter acts like this in high school, I'll be the one giving her the reason to cry. A good, hard slap.

Now I remember why I hung around with GUYS in high school! I sure didn't go in for all that cattiness. Bleh. I'm soooo glad I'm homeschooling my kids.

She is a feminist, but not the sort likely to ascribe greater inherent compassion to women or girls as a group than to men or boys. Well, well, well, she is a feminist....I would never have guessed. And I bet she wonders why girls (and women) are now so aggressive and angry and mean. Gee, could it have something to do with the new feminism!!!!!

This type of activity was very common with the ChiComs during "Cultural Revolution" days of the '70's.
also, IMHO, this article is too long. Just my opinion.
