Michael Moore is clearly a kook, but don't you think it might be a little more politically expedient to leave him alone? After all, if he were jailed for anything he "says" do you think the media will be biased in their presentation of the story? No-one is taking him seriously, and the more he talks, the less influence he has.

Rather than being jailed I believe Moore will be elected to the Senate soon. Based on past elections, he is a sure thing vote getter. I mean if the voters can elect a man like John McCain and keep him in office, they can certainly vote for Moore, can't they?

Michael Moore is a big fat nothing as far as I am concerned. He's gotten a lot of mileage as it stands for conquering the attempts to re-write his book -- just think about how it would boost his image if people were legitimately trying to charge the guy with sedition or treason.

What would this idiot do to overthrow the government anyway? Have a big lunch, go on a White House tour, put on a gas mask, and cause evacuation by farting into the ventilation system? Get serious.

While I agree with your premise, the government as defined by the US Constitution has been overthrown. It was just done slowly.

The current government needs to be overthrown but only by peaceful, legal means. The revolution took place over many years. The counter-revolution will also take many years as it must be done peacefully.
