And I just defeated my own purpose by drawing attention to him and wasting JimRob's bandwidth.

That was going to be my point. He hopes for the controversy, in order to allow himself airtime. His "career" has been one of, political shock value, since his last failed film.

BTW I don't think you wasted any bandwidth here....there are some of us...myself included....who are considered the usual suspects (by the way, just how wide is it?)

I'm usually accused of everything any way.

Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein, by force or violence, or by the assassination of any officer of any such government; or

Did he mention any of the things? I don't like the idea of charging Moore with a crime on the basis of some silly throwaway remark. It would make him look more important than he really is, and create a very bad precedent.

What would you make of a document calling for the overthrow of the government of the day, and describing the kind of situation (which exists NOW!!) under which overthrowing the government is not only justifiable, but morally required?!? This UNPATRIOTIC TRASH is being taught to our children in school! Get the SEDITIOUS TRASH out of our schools! Let's roll!

the Rupert Murdoch-owned publishing house

He was on Sean Hannity's radio program this afternoon and there's going to be a spot on Hannity and Colmes tonight. ABCNBCCBC aren't the only ones who plug they own companys' projects. Maybe it is just about selling books and getting ratings.

Just wondering, does anything think the title of the book "Stupid White Men" is racist? I wonder what would happen if a book was published named "Stupid Black Men"

The cliche "criminal stupidity" seemed to sum up Moore's appearance on the Fox News Channel yesterday. Calm down. "Criminal" in this context is just a figure of speech. Admittedly, I did not watch the whole interview, but IMO Moore is actually a pretty good pacifier for the bed wetting lefties.

The rat sites are all going mad and really think they will now over throw Bush by force.

Never in their wildest dreams could they imagine how many guns The Red Zone has. ;-)

Imagine if Al Gore was President. Nobody here would be advocating the overthrow , right?

Very few here would advocate the overthrow of our government..........now impeachment would be a different story.

Michael Moore "is" calling for a Government overthrow in his own low-key way. I think the man is elligible for a private padded cell myself but there are other's that do take what he say's seriously.

IMO our government and military could crush him and any followers like bugs if they tried but many innocents will get hurt or killed in the attempt. What came to mind when I listened to Moore was the things I have heard Louis Farakhan speak of over the past 35 yrs., it does make me wonder if these groups are just biding their time till they do instigate some sort of take over, it's silly I know, but tell them that.

Should we even take these whacko's seriously? Our own President Clinton (at the time) did not take the warnings about Osama Bin Ladin seriously, he was passed over at some sort of radical, now look at us.

I have come to the conclusion that anything can and will happen, if we stand by idly and mock it, our shock and horror later will be too late. I don't know what or if anything can be done about people like Michael Moore and Louis Farrakhan, but I have seen the maltitudes that believe in them and they are not just a few.

Michael Moore is clearly a kook, but don't you think it might be a little more politically expedient to leave him alone? After all, if he were jailed for anything he "says" do you think the media will be biased in their presentation of the story? No-one is taking him seriously, and the more he talks, the less influence he has.

I thought the constitution gave citizens the right to overthrow a tyranical government? I suppose the most seditious document ever created is the Declaration of Independence and the American Constitution.

I'm with you on this one. For crying out loud, this would be exactly what that fat slob wants - if he's arrested for this, all you're going to do is make a liberal martyr out of him.

Don't give him the attention he craves - leave him, and his three remaining fans, to their little circle-jerk, where Mike pretends to say something insightful, and they pretend to listen....

Rather than being jailed I believe Moore will be elected to the Senate soon. Based on past elections, he is a sure thing vote getter. I mean if the voters can elect a man like John McCain and keep him in office, they can certainly vote for Moore, can't they?
