Thanks for the update.

Hmmm.... I'm glad your son hasn't come down with it yet. Curiouser and curiouser. If it's spread from one building to another, the chances that it's environmentally related are very minute. I heard on the news yesteray that employees in the Hart Senate office building were reporting illness much like some of the postal workers. Headaches, rashes, etc. Not anthrax type, but they're suspecting that some people are allergic to the mail that's been erradicated (sp?). I wonder if mail that's been treated has come to the school and been passed to the teachers, or has come to people's homes and is causing some that are sensitive to whatever treatment was used to react?
Just thinking out loud here :^)

Initially, when 40+ kids suddenly had a rash, they loaded up a school bus and took the kids to the hospital -- tests were run then and were inconclusive.....
terilyn - thanks for the info - I have no idea about the mail - and hate to sound totally trusting, but the school has been great about this - they are on top of it and have so many professionals in it is mind boggling..... They are keeping strict records of which children, when, which ones are complaining then not having the rash, just so they keep an accounting of everything that is happening..... I spoke with the Principal today and he said many more than the 14 actually diagnosed today, came down with complaints..... he was thrilled that it was limited to 14 actual cases....
I will let you know if we EVER find out for sure what this has been....thanks again for your concern.

Hey... there's a new thing out called
soap and water.
If the kids don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom,
or if the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned, rashes happen.
This sounds like SuckerMom Syndrome to me.
