You're totally misinformed. Marijuana, most certainly, is legally sold in coffee shops in the Netherlands. Simply doing that has greatly increased all drug use in the Netherlands.

Did you even read my post? All the scriptural passages are already listed in the post itself.

Are you arguing that rape is moral if God commands it or condones it? The biblical passages in my post clearly prove that God at least condones rape in certain cicumstances. Isn't it moral relativisim if rape is moral in some cases and immoral in others?

Your argument hardly makes the case for absolute "objective morality."

No, I have passionate hatred of libertarians because they consistently want legalize behavior that not only damages society, but harms innocent people. Legalizing drugs will increase the number of users that will increase the number of innocent people dying at the hands of high losers. Legalizing drugs will also increase crime because most crimes are committed by those intoxicated.

And, the liberaltarians also want to legalize prostitution. It won't be long before they push for lower age of consent laws. And, liberaltarians at this site even defended performers at an MTV concert defecating on stage and splattering excrement on teenage girls.

Behavior that harms society and harms others is a crime. The Founders knew it. Reagan knew it.

I still get slapped in the face with a degrading popular culture at every step.

Basically, you are saying you don't like your fellow man's tastes, which is fine. But against the majority's (popular) fashions and behaviors (culture), I'm afraid your only choices are either to kill all of those with whom you disagree, rant on in misery while people roll their eyes and laugh as they walk by, or to become a hermit.

As an individual, you have many choices, but unless you withdraw from society completely, I'm afraid you are going to have to just endure the rest of us.

Hi Goetz
perceptive post
I agree with all of it
clinton won't be behind us (truly) till it is all brought to Law
it is a lovely miracle we united to get the tyrant out of power
now that our Republic is safe in the hands of Bush and GOP
it is natural that we want to discuss our vision
to restore and expand liberty for our citizens

I will do my best to give you the correct interpretation.

If you must interpret it,it is obviously not objective.

If exmarine is not god, then he can not understand god entirely. He can only interpret.

I value freedom above your need to make sure your neighbor isn't reading a dirty book or getting intoxicated, comrade.

Can an objective fact be misinterpreted? Absolutely yes. Do you misinterpret math problems? Absolutely yes. Your logic fails.

Are you arguing that rape is moral if God commands it or condones it?

But God doesn't command it or condone it. I asked you for passages in the bible that say He does. The ones you listed don't. I'm still waiting. Put up or shut up.

I wouldn't tell you that YOU can't do anything you so desire. I would say that IF my family were hurt by you while you are in your recreation state that you MIGHT just find out if I believe in a "well practiced" second amendment right.

So you're not against the decriminalization of drugs, then? Because if so, then you ARE telling "me" that I can't do anything I desire. If I perform a criminal act while under the influence, I will be punished for the act by the justice system. If, on the other hand, I'm "in my recreation state" in my home, and I haven't had to associate with criminals to obtain the substance that put me in that state, I don't see how your family is in any danger whatsoever. Unless you are for some reason trespassing on my property, in which case that 2nd amendment right comes into play once more...
