What I meant was that the Bible does mention the unborn child once in the context of the law against injuring a pregnant women. In this context, it is clear that the law does not treat the unborn child with the full rights of a person.
No I don't know these numbers. I submit that no-one really knows these numbers. One of the problems with making things that people want to do illegal is these activities are driven underground. No records are kept. We don't really know how many there were and we probably never will know.
I do know that in the 60's and early 70's there was a rather extensive and elaborate "network" of women who helped other women obtain "reasonably safe" abortions by helping to arrange transport and abortions in foreign countries for reasonable prices. I doubt that anyone knows how many of these abortions were occurring.

Given that the normal Pro-Life positions excludes the rare occassions of mother's life endangerment, I chose to include this in the normal Pro-Life category. Everything else is self explanatory.
