I am heartbroken to learn of Jessie's death. I was hoping and praying for a miracle. I hope you are at peace that you did everything you could, and that you were able to be with her and comfort her to the end. I was with my girl when she died, and as painful as it was, there was also relief that she was no longer suffering. My prayers are continuing for you and your wife.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Having lost four very dear cats during my life, I truly know how much that can hurt. My prayers for you and your family.

Please don't think this is insensitive but---for a beloved pet to die in the arms of a devoted and loving owner is not that bad. When I consider all the cats and kittens in shelters, on the streets, or in very bad situations, we should consider Jessie quite blessed and having lived a good life. Jessie could have done much worse for an owner. God bless.
