You are correct sir, I think another reason they hit the Chinese embassy was because they were providing intellegence and we thought they were housing some Yugo thugs like the Tiger.

"stealth" aircraft are actually called low-observable for a reason. They have a small radar cross-section, but not a zero cross section. They are always seen by the radar, just not detected as aircraft.
Lockheed developed a system like the one described here some time ago-- used ambient and terrrestrial RF as the transmitter. Same thing works for super-advanced SONARS -- the systems listen for a moving hole in the background noise of the ocean. Makes it 'easy' to find "silent" subs if they move.

I wonder if he could see a nuke coming. I wonder if we should test it.

The secret to defeating a system like that is to give them what they are looking for.

If you say on a thread it is already posted, etiquette would be to post the link, so we can see the replies there, as well.
Anti-Freepers would not post a link in order to kill the conversation on the thread. I don't think you would be that way. I can't find the link.
Got link?

B117 is deteced to be about the size of a seagull, if I am not mistaken.
To: Blueflag
A very fast seagull.

ROFLMBO!! Funny guy!

B117 = F117. Keyfoard error.
To: Bryan24
F-117's have been detectable by low band radar since day one. A fact that the Air Force doesn't want anyone to know. The British tracked them from the Persian Gulf using ship mounted low band search radar during Desert Storm. The B-2 has the same vulnerability. "Stealth" technology decreases detection range, it does not make an airplane invisible to radar.
The Myth of Stealth
To: Bryan24
If they can be detected, they would no longer be called "Stealth" bombers.
Then no plane is actual a stealth.
Stealth jets are those with a low radar signature. No plane is actually invisible. Rather it gives off the signiture of an extremely small object and this signiture may be unclear.
Given an integrated multi-phase radar system with multiple linked detection points and enough processing power, any plane can be detected.
When the B-2 was designed to penetrate teh Soviet Union, the designers and planners knew that the plane could never pass directly over radars. Rather, it could penetrate spaces near them.

Yeah, don't you find that funny?
RADAR OPERATOR: Hey, guys, radar shows a seagull doing 870mph.
RADAR COMMANDER: Yeah, we think those seagulls are doing speed. Funny thing is we get hit by some kind of giant bird droppings right after the seagulls pass by.

Well, I figured I would ask one of Free Republic's very own Iraqi Apologists (their motto: "No Dictator So Bad That We Can't Whitewash Him!") what they had to say about this. I mean, according to Ada, folks are dying over there, and Saddam (smiling and benevolent uncle to the Iraqi people (patent pending)) is just wetting his pants over the chance to purchase water purification equipment in order to save those dying children. Saddam (smiling and benevolent uncle to the Iraqi people (patent pending)) wouldn't dream of purchasing military equipment or building palaces when according to the apologists there are people dying in the streets for lack of pure, clean water.

sorry don't know how to post links, luckily someone else did it for me

Question: Even if Saddam knows where the planes are. Is he capable of posing a credible threat to them at 40,000+ feet?
PS: This is just one more reason to go and take him out.. IMO, He's driving nails in his own coffin.
If he were smart, he would be struck with a sudden case of contrition and humble type stuff would overcome him THEN he would gladly admit the inspectors and plead for the sanctions to be lifted for the sake of the "Childern of Iraq" And ask for a peacefull resolution to this crisis, for their sake.

Copy and paste the URL. then add a < a href= to the front end and a >
at the back end.

I thought Saddam wanted the water so he could rinse of the bio they are covered with. Guess I was wrong, huh?

Assuming that Iraq now has these stealth sensing radars and assuming that the US has a shortage of cruise missiles, should and will the GW administration delay in not toppling Saddam.
My opinion that the US should not delay because of the weapons of mass destruction which Iraq now possesses and is training AlQaeda how to use against the US. I am suspicious that some in the Bush administration are looking for excuses not to move agasint Iraq.

And these Eastern European nations want to join NATO? Doesn't its security have more holes than Swiss cheese with France in it?
