Boy, Rowdee! Phew, nice put down.

The only reason the bozo has a public voice at all is because after bashing W in 2000...Heard him speak as the keynote speaker at a prolife conference in '90, and many times since. He had a public voice a long time before little George stepped up to bat. He didn't bash Bush or Mclame in 2000; he simply made their lukewarm, mushy positions look plum silly.

Major was also with NET tv...had an a.m. show with Marianne (think it started with an F)_______. Weyrich's station had some good people....Dan Mitchell and his wife (Mitchells in the Morning) to name but one.... Marianne Fogelson but she since married. I miss N.E.T. when Americas Voice took over and Paul lost control it self destructed in liberalism. I didn't watch the station to hear Bob Beckell, Ellen Ratner, or especially Larry Flynnt. I think the network was purposely ran off the air because it stepped on some high up GOP toes. Those toes should have been stomped on harder IMO. BTW did you catch the John Lofton vs James Carville interview one night? It was priceless.

Well, now I have a viable alternative to Greta Van Sustern at 10:00pm. Looks like MSNBC is trying to copy the Fair & Balanced approach. The lib stations are finally catching on.

About a year ago I saw him in a debate with Derschowitz on C-Span. It was fantastic. Keyes has such an elegant and assured way with the English language and Derschowitz looked like he was close to foaming at the mouth.

Dr. Keyes is an intellectual lighthouse on a Neanderthal shore. His audience will be small but elite, and those who can keep up with his spirited reasoning will benefit from an expanded mind. The vast majority of viewers, however, will return to watching football and WWF Slapdown, and shudder that they passed too near the flame.

You're not the only one...my satellite dish stayed on their satellite much of the time.
And you are correct on when the demise started. I'm definitely not privy to much of the inside story or whatever, but I think a part of it may have occured when Paul was having such terrible back problems...he required surgery, and I know there was times he had to be away.
Bleck....when they start with giving the liberals 'equal' chances, that's buzz words for B.S. A liberal by definition doesn't believe in 'equal'!!!
When they started eliminating the voices we wanted, there was no reason to stick around. I will suggest that there was a purposeful, behind the scene, effort to eliminate Paul and what he stood for. I don't have any proof, but the long slow process of connecting one dot to the next and then one over there shows up sort of thing.

We went through this the other night and I feel the same as I did then. Keyes is too arrogant to appeal to more than 3% of the GOP primary voters in the country.
I won't be watching :). I wouldn't watch Keyes for any reason.

Why not set aside Tuesday as formal debate night and bring on the Patricia Irelands, Paul Wellstones, Andrew Sullivans. Tha would be a blast to watch.

CAL,
I'm so psyched! I've already notified everyone on my e-mail list. And I'm so glad I'm still driving around with THREE Keyes bumper stickers on my car! Now, like Rowdee, I have to get MSNBC. In fact, now I have to get cable. (Good thing I just made my last car payment -- I know where some of the money's going.)
This truly is wonderful news. Just getting the message out, just getting the name out -- so much can happen with this venture. I'll keep praying.
Congratulations to you and Alan.

Best to you, too Richard, and Happy New Year.
No stink bombs like the one Keyes delivered here at the DFW Hyatt in August, though, Richard.
The flowers will wilt in a hurry.

To: Keyesertarian
I'm back! ..and I for one have greatly missed ya!! :-)
Good to see you, my friend.
To: DrewsDad
Boy, would I love to see Keyes vs. Ireland!
To: sinkspur
Thanks again for the kind words. Keyes said what he wanted to say in Dallas, and I think he will say little more along those lines. The show should be issues and philosophy oriented, and I hope you'll like it.
Drop by www.declaration.net in the next few days ... I'll be posting the Paul Rahe piece praising GWB on the early success of the war on terrorism, and there should be other interesting things.
Best to you in the New year,
Richard F.
