I'm looking forward to it. Maybe, once a week or more he can dedicate a show to a more formal debate style format. That would be awesome if he can find some takers.

Great news!!! MSNBC will get the 7pm PST viewing from the 'd14truth' household. Let's just hope that Dr. Keyes will continue to 'love' the sinners and 'hate' the sins. It's the 'fine line' that we ALL have trouble walking at times.

The biggest problem with the Bush fans here is the level of personal attacks on anyone who disagrees with Keyes. If they disagree with Keyes politically, I can understand. I realize you meant to say "disagrees with Bush" but anyway............ The personal attacks are very, very equal and any fair person on either side must admit that.
I don't need to look far at all to cite numerous examples. The underlying cause is obviously the frustration of seeing a given situation very differently. Keyes seems to be a love-him-or-hate-him kind of guy. Naturally people get hot whenever he is discussed.
I am partial toward the anti-Keyesters and make this statement with that in mind. Keyes and the majority of his fans add a layer of superiority to their remarks and it incites people that don't agree. It is one thing to battle it out but quite another to be labeled immoral, ignorant, or a Constitution-hater because one doesn't buy the Keyes agenda or manner in which it is presented. That is the highest level of baiting and goes beyond simply arguing one's personal take.
Once again this very conversation illustrates seeing this disagreement with very different eyes.

You should listen to Sean Hannity over the radio, with his his voice inflection I just have to turn him off.
So true.

I echo your sentiments. I would also add that hopefully he will not maintain his collegiate verbal delivery, but modify his approach to appeal to a dumbed down audience. You have to get their attention first. That's why O'Reilly is so hugely popular; he speaks to the masses, not the already informed.

This is good news.
However, I am a bit troubled by the bizarre reaction of the Bush-firsters. We need more faces in more venues preaching conservative values, not less.

The show should be called the 'Daily Constitutional'. {;~)

I wish Keyes nothing but the best. If he can advance the cause of conservatism, let's cheer him on.
Well said, well said indeed!
My best to you.
Reminds me of the days when you and I discussed my Ward Connerly interview.
Let's hope this works just the way you say, to advance conservativism.
Again, my best to you,
Richard F.

I told Richard Ferrier (rdf) to counsel Keyes to let the other guy edge in with have a word or two, and perhaps even finish a sentence, so I suspect all will be well. Not to worry. :)You flatter me!
Seriously, I think Alan will do fine on this score. He really has more range than the shouting shows let him display.
Let's watch, and chat later.
Warmest regards,
Richard F.

Sorry, CaL, but MSPMS is a perfect location for a RINO, like Dr. Keyes, to continue his damage to the pubbie party...
It's "PMSNBC" you knuckle head. And Keyes makes the GOP shine. He's one of the truly great Conservative leaders left in the world. Thank God for Alan Keyes. I hope his show ROCKS the charts!
To: Benson_Carter
Either way, Keyes over Gretta Van Susteren is a no-brainer. That statement qualifies as the understatement of the year-to-date!

Reaching out......how is reaching out for a liberal lover of Clinton? Keyes can handle them in an adult, mature way...his radio/tv show he walked people through logical steps/processses...

Just curious about another angle of this. I assume there is obviously a contract involved. What if MSNBC manipulates this program in a way that Keyes doesn't like? I wouldn't trust these people for anything. If that happens and it begins to be a plus for the libs and a negative for the conservatives.......then what? You can rest assured that they will not allow him to use their network to argue against what they had in mind all the time. Just some thoughts ???????? Walking into enemy camp is treacherous no matter how well armed one believes he or she is.

Hey, KFP.....if the reruns are watched enough times, maybe we, who support the guy, will be able to read those sarcastic smiles, the innuendos given off by eye movements to the left, right, up, down, or the nod of the head, the way he crosses his legs, I betcha there's even clues in how he holds papers or moves them around....we'll be able to know what he 'meant' or 'what he said'!! Whadda ya think?

You have to tape the show and watch it backwards to find the hidden meaning.
