White, Black, Brown and all hues between who happen to be citizens of this nation, don't they have any seniority rights? Or is anyone, including terrorists, equally endowed with all the rights our forefathers earned for us simply by getting their feet across our borders? In so, none of us has a homeland regardless of racial background. This simple truth is not disputable but totally ignored, even impugned as racism. Who but Buchanan is even willing to touch on it?

Distinction without a difference - I said I was giving direct quotes - but it is clear that he meant non-white - in fact he keeps repeating that non-whites (ie. brown and yellow types) will be the majority if demographic trends continue.

It's not about whites it's about Americans and American culture. Look at California. A majority of nonwhite Americans there support curtailing immigration. The real reason so many in government ram large numbers of immigrants in is to smother American culture.
Why? Because it's impossible to assimilate especially when so many groups out there are on patrol to PREVENT assimilation. The reasoning behind that is age old "A house divided can not stand".
It's all part of the plan.

It's scarey to post a reply in a 700+ thread without reading all of the posts, but here goes: The problem is not completely that we have immigrants, although immigration needs to be brought under control. The problem is that we have no history. When I was schooled from 1959-1972 in the public schools, history was a subject in every single grade except my senior year of high school. I was given a heritage. I knew from whence my country came, the wars it had been through, the blood that had bought it, and the traditions and values that we held as a people.

Today, as I take my high school children to school, children whom I have taken great pains to educate in history, I am utterly amazed at their lack of education in history. They and their friends have no idea when and where the World Wars occurred, or the Civil War, or why these wars occurred, or why American entered into them.

Secondly, we have truly lost the very freedoms that we have for so long cherished. One need only read a thread on the WOD to find a post on the state of our constitutional rights.

So, what does an immigrant child find when he or she grows up in America? First, he finds that he is shaken down for drugs by the time he is eight, and that the police are the enemy and that the constitution means nothing. Secondly, he learns no heritage or culture superior to the one which he will inherit from his parents. He learns no history for the battle for freedom which his new country has endured in which he can take pride and in which he can be a part.

It is these problems, not the immigration itself, that will destroy America. It is the loss of our national history and heritage, and the loss of our freedom, experienced in a very personal and profound way by the new immigrants, that will destroy us.

He wants us to be alarmed because certain races are reproducing faster than others. Blacks are doing this, hispanics are doing that, europeans/whites are doing something else.

I suppose others might view this as struggle of cultures but by any name, to me it stinks, the way Mein Kampf stinks.

Racist or not, the following headline was in a newspaper today.. "Rising Asian youth numbers concern West CIA report warns growing populations may be disruptive in unstable countries".

The article started off by saying.. "A massive increase in youth populations in many parts of the Muslim world must be a key concern for western governments, especially since most are facing aging and in some cases shrinking, populations of their own, a CIA report says."

I think it is a valid concern and not necessarily racist. When there are more kids in extremist countries than non-extremist countries, there is definately some cause for concern.

I happen to share the same opinion as you in regards to legal immigration as well. Make sure you understand the context of something before you start shooting your mouth off.

You know, some people argue in favor of immigration by saying Americans are lazy and immigrants are industrious.

If this is so, then I say we should import a lot of immigrants--but only after we make room for industrious immigrants by first deporting lazy Americans.

If you really want to talk about bad people why don't you talk about the hundreds of thousands of inner, city minority gang members, many of these criminal gang members happen to be illegal aliens. Do you watch the news or read news papers?

Minority gangs had brutally murdered thousands of people in all of our major cities. In some years over 10,000 murders were attributed to inner city gangs. More murders will occur tonight.

How many has the KKK brutally murdered in the past year? The past 5 years?

Why are you so obsessed with the KKK?
