The seems to be no identifiable source for the "can't prohibit" nonsense so frequently posted on FR. Perhaps it just circulates like a self-perpetuating urban myth, seized on eagerly by libertines and passed on to those who are easily taken in.

Free-basing is illegal.

Well over half the kids in my area are doing marijuana.

A 16 year old friend of my son has been in Juvinile for 30 days charged with a felony because an older woman told him to hold marijuana for her because the cops were looking for here.

They charged him with having more than an ounce with intent to sell, a felony. They convict him at a judge trial today.

While he was at school a sheriff came to his house and searched his room. The sheriff then came to the school and arrested the boy. They did not produce the evidence at trial.

This is total bullshit.

Unless you count the 9th and 10th amendments, and the Founding Clause. Which, I'll explain, since you seem unaware, unambiguously say, taken together, that the sole reason for governments is to secure constitutionally enumerated individual rights.

A drug is about to be invented which removed people's ability to offer consent, to act and think rationally, to sit on juries and pass judgments, to take care of themselves and be responsible, self-sufficient citizens. It inhibits their ability to self-defense, makes them terrified of guns, makes them cower to anyone's whim, in essense making slaves of them, and not for an hour or two, but forever. And the drug will spread like wildfire, essentially ending forever American self-government. A foreign power will have to move in and manage the self-indulgent sheep they will find here, or just slaughter them as they invade the land.

Question: Will the libertarian ideologues fight for the supposed "right" of people to destroy the Constitution and our way of life? Before you answer, consider the implications: Either the drug is supreme or the Constitution is supreme. Either people have an inalienable right to death or an inalienable right to life. It does present such a dilemma to the ideologues, eh?

Thanks for assuming facts not in evidence. Now, I'd be interested in your thoughts as to why *consumption* of the demon liquid was not prohibited. A big guy with a big reputation on this board could certainly answer this little nitpicking question and not even break a sweat, eh Chief?

No quotes, naturally. Roe v. Wade is based on the same kind of dodges.

Begging the question, and closing your eyes to history and common sense.

At least identify your source. Where did you hear it?

Read the debates of the Constitutional Convention and the Federalist Papers.

You are the one closing your eyes to history, you only see as far back as FDR, maybe Lincoln. Look back further, at the founders words.

It is no step at all from that to regulating how many bullets I can own, because I had to buy them.

Not a good tactic to take with Roscoe. He thinks that this would be perfectly acceptable. In fact there's no tactic that works with him as he's intellectually dishonest and won't ever defend his own statements with a logical argument. He's never answered a question that I can remember that wasn't a one-liner or another question. It's not his intention to do so. He is here to waste bandwidth and smear everyone he doesn't like by claiming they're espousing Aryan nation principles.

To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.

That is the last clause of Article I Section 8. The "forgoing Powers" mentioned in there are the previous 16 clauses in which the specific powers enumerated to congress is listed. That does not give congress plenary powers to pass whatever the hell they want.

That is obvious. That would explain your hatred of the American political system as it was designed.
