... we cannot defend freedom abroad by abandoning it at home A point being ignored at the moment, with the full cooperation of many Americans.

Mr. Pierce makes good points. But they're too uncomfortable for those who've declared "My Party, Right or Wrong!"I suspect they would be more comfortable with Mr. Peirce if 911 had happened on Bubba's watch and he was doing the same thing Bush is doing.

Attempting to educate the kindergarten kids can't be very satisfying....I wasn't aiming Mike Peirce's posts at them but was intended for those capable of appreciating it.

You are wrong. He did invade Kuwait after the supposed discussion with the U.S. Ambassador, but then he did positio0n his troops near the Saudi border. Why do you think the Saudis joined the coalition so fast? You guys just have to keep ignoring facts to pretend you are correct.

Do you wonder why George Bush has refused to investigate the crimes of the most despicable criminal to ever hold office, his predecessor? The reason folks, is simple. The Republicans are up to their necks in it.
Traitor! Bush is God! He should be worshiped, not blasphemed like this! In fact it would be best, since we're an Empire to just make him the Emporer.
I'm not one for idolatry but I think in this case, it might be warranted. Baal - Bush. It makes so much sense when you think about it.

The threat to our security during the gulf war was the free flow of oil at market prices. It is not your right to have cheap gas.

"The teachers unions, who just happen to own the Democratic Party, are a treasonous cultural Marxist organization and we have surrendered our children to their tender care."
Any freeper who disagrees with this does not know what is going on.Remember, many professors in many universities are unionized too.!!One may disagree with certain aspects of this article, but to attack all of it wholesale, is not intelligent.

The drugging of the kids, mostly boys, at schools refers to Ritalin. And that is not unbelievable.

The bashing is mostly by I consider fear-biters. They are terrified of freedom. The best expression I've heard is "Authoritarian Capitalists." They share many traits with National Socialists and Italian Fascists. Manipulated economy, regulated and controlled business entities, incestuous relationship between government and business, militaristic adventurism, authoritarian control of society. The trappings of free enterprise, but not the reality. The facade of a free society, but not the substance. The pretense of citizen participation, but actual manipulation by the power-elite. The nation seems to move deeper into that abyss each year. The timetable seems to have accelerated since 9/11.

Excellent article...written by someone who has FIRST-HAND fought Communism and tyranny.
I cannot find anything to disagree with.

...."Party of Principle"....No....that title has already been taken...by the modern Republican party...and they will sell those priciples for a modest donation to their re-election funds.
