I got the info on the where and when of Lee. P.'s inauguration. . .

Thanks for your inquiry to the Mayor's Citizens' Assistance Office (MCAO).

The Mayor's Inauguration will be held on Wednesday, January 2nd at the Wortham Theater Center in the Brown Theater beginning at 10 a.m. It is open to the public, however there is limited seating in the Brown Theater. Additional seating will be made available in the Cullen Theater where the ceremony can be viewed electronically.

There will also be an Inaugural Festival held in front of City Hall in Hermann Square from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. This event will feature food and entertainment, as well as, present an opportunity for the public to visit with their new elected officials.

I hope this information helps and thanks again for the opportunity to be of service.

Richard Cantu
Director - MCAO

This is the one we want. . .

Inaugural Festival held in front of City Hall in Hermann Square from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m.

How about:

FREE SPEECH, NOT SPEECH LESSINGS

or

THE P REALLY STANDS FOR PAWN

or

THE P REALLY STANDS FOR PATSY

or (my personal favorite)

SANCHEZ FOR MAYOR

Dress warm - the long range forecast looks chilly, but it should be mostly dry. (subject to change. we are talking Texas weather here)

New years day and Wednesday Cloudy with a slight chance of rain. Lows 35 to 40. Highs near 50.

Wednesday the 2nd is what I meant.. I traditionally
have great difficulty during the days before I
put up the new calendar. Mayhaps I could lend my presence
during my lunch hour, as I work quite close to downtown.

How in the world did you guys miss me.Several months ago I wanted to start a Houston club, couldn't find anyone interested, count me in for sure.Anyone involved please FReepmail me with particulars.

These things are cyclic in nature. I too used to wonder that and even tried what these latest guys are trying to do. I applaud their efforts if they can pull it off (by avoiding the pitfalls that lay in their path when dealing with such a fractured conservative movement).

But I'll be pulling for them nonetheless. I'll even help out if they show they are in it for the long haul.

I am from Lufkin, Texas 100 miles up the road from Houston, but would make it a point to carve out time to meet with a group so finely tuned as this. I think the group may even consider writing to George Herbert Walker Bush and invite him to speak and make him an honary member. But where are the meetings? If you want drive up here, I'll throw on a Barbeque for these Great Americans. Let me know.

Keep an eye on the FR Texas locale page for future Houston Area Texans FReeper events.

"Flyer" keeps the HAT list, so hopefully he will ping you to the HAT meeting notice thread.

I live on a 500 acre ranch. We carry about 100 moma cows and calves are coming. If I go a number to feed I feel like I could pull it off, unless there were 100s. None of my cow have problems with bovine spongiform encephalopathy.... that I know of. But I'm not testing.

Would you consider meeting some time in the 1960/Champions/249/Spring area?
