High tech? Not really. Just bullies. And in case you hadn't noticed, Afghanistan has nothing to do with the terrorists excepting on a coincidental level.

I'm not sure where to begin on this, but I can tell you that America is not a bully.

Yes, we are. You won't find anytime in the last 50 years that we have engaged in fighting any nation as strong as us. And there have and are nations at our strength or better which have caused problems throughout the world.

We only pick on the little guys.

Well it seems pretty apparent that the big guys don't want to start a fight with us now do they?

Again, you're a fool to think that this is just for us to have a good time bullying a helpless downtrodden country. This is about principle. They struck first, we struck back. We're going to finish it, and you know, I can sleep pretty easily about it too. We'll probably go to war with China some day, and you'll see us win that one as well. You know why? Because luckily for the rest of us, our military doesn't have to listen to people telling them we have to try and see it from their side, or their point of view.

Again, we aren't bullies. Russia and China aren't interested in fighting us, because they know, THEY KNOW they can't beat us. If they dared invade us, they'd be met with civilians with guns as well. Of course the bleeding heart leftist liberal pinko commies want us to give up our guns, but then, they think everyone should be a communist.

So which category are you in, Free Thinking America, or BRainwashed, Communist Liberal America?

I am sure the GW Bush administration and the Repubs and Democrats with huge investments in China and large campaign contributions from Chinese interests will find a way to rationalize all this to make China look like a non terrorist state and a friend of the US.

Our own elected officials are our own worst enemies for selling us out in acts of treason with China.

China is THE leading terrorist nation in the world as China supports terrorist groups like ALQaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah,Islamic Jihad and terrorist nations North Korea,Sudan,Iran,Iraq, Syria, etc with military hardware, money, intelligence and training.

GW Bush and his father have known this for years but Poppa Bush (UN ambassador to China) and Condi Rice want the US to enter a "New Age" of world government with China (Bush Sept 27, 1991 speech to the nation, Rice July 2000 speech to the Repub convention).

Even the Bushs' appeasement of China will not placate China, for China will, unless stopped, destroy and subjugate the US economically and military using terror surrogates without even having to fire a nuke missile.

Remember that great patriot, Jane Fonda, said to treat 9/11 as though it were a crime. Well whose modus operandi is this?..has little regard for human life; has the technology to do the deed (only Israel and China could have pulled it off)and has motive. Crime solved...my suspect is China.

Interesting facts and insights; actually, they're quite troubling. Thanks for the heads up.

In his book, Thomas contends that hours after the plane landed in Kabul, CIA Director George Tenet received a coded "red alert" message from Israeli Mossad agents that presented a "worst case scenario" – that China would use a surrogate, bin Laden, to attack the United States.

Thomas also claims that the head of Pakistan's intelligence service was in Washington to meet with Tenet on Sept. 11, and that he briefed Tenet that day on the links between bin Laden and China.

The intelligence agent "told [Tenet] that China had made a decisive decision," wrote Thomas. "It was prepared to infuriate America and its allies in supporting bin Laden and the Taliban because Afghanistan fitted into China's own long-term strategic plans."

My immediate thought after reading this article: How would author Gordan Thomas be privy to all this information about private messages from Israeli Mossad agents and conversations between the head of the CIA and the head of Pakistani intelligence?

The only non sequitor I see in the above is Russia cozying up to China over the US withdrawal from the ABM treaty. It could happen, but I don't see Russia believing it to be a grand idea, as the FSU is gaining too much from its new friendship with the US and I don't see the big gain, long or short term, for them as the friends of the monsters in China. Putin has made a lot of choices to move away from China and toward the US since he took command.

Really? When China brought down one of our spy planes what did you think of that? Why didn't we react militarily? Because we're bullies and we don't retalliate against strong nations.

And I'm with you regarding the fact that Afghanistan isn't the first country we've bullied. We've bullied a hundred at least. Columbia is off of everyone's radar screen but we're kicking the crap out of their civilian population in an effort to step up the "war on drugs." The war on terrorism is just another war on the innocent people of the world. More American and foreign civilians will be punished than any terrorists.

Since you are a relative newcomer here, World Net Daily and debka are the most unreliable sources of news on FR. The only reliable thing about them is that they both do regular hit pieces on China.

More anti-Americanism from terrorist sympathizer Demigod.

You're pissed that America whipped the Taliban so easily. Remember how your side said "THese are the most fearsome fighters in the world"?

TWO MONTHS and they're reduced to CRYING because the bombs are scaring them to death!

The Chinese are cowering. The U.S. is on their border, and we're about to build up our military and technological capability even more.

You idiots who think China would risk a war with its largest trading partner are smoking something.

Al Quaeda and the Taliban have a symbiotic relationship, and you consider Afghanistan just a poor picked on nation by the big bad US? If you can't recognize state sponsored terrorism as it smacks into 3 major buildings on US soil then you are delusional, or a paid up toadie for terrorist sympathizers.Which is it??

America didn't whip them. The Northern alliance did. We dropped some bombs and the Afghans did all of the heavy lifting. Just like in 79, when Carter started funding the Mujahedin, we are using others to do our dirty work.
