the most polite city I have ever been in is New Orleans.

The 'Big Easy' is polite, but it is a cesspool of moral and political corruption, and is filthy to boot. At least, since the recent reform, the local cops are less likely to be hired killers than in the recent past.

I won't go as far as saying NY is the MOST polite city, but I will surely say that in general NYC and NY State as a whole are sadly misrepresented...all of NY is beautiful and most NYers are polite.

I gotta go to New Orleans. The only drawback, is that I'll probably spend the rest of my life partying down there and never come back. Maybe that's not a drawback....

Snakes, snapping turtles, alligators? Sounds like paradise! Fire ants and mosquitoes-sheesh, I just don't get folks that get all stewed up about such trivial mess. Next thing you know they're complaining about the heat...

We have relatives from Ohio, Maryland, PA that visit regularly and even they comment on the "friendliness" in the Milwaukee area.

I guess I'd have to agree...you know I've even had a few panhandlers offer to escort me to my car on a few occasions. LOL
