I don't agree with her, but I applaud her trying to do something about what she believes.Right. I don't agree with what she's saying, but she has a right to free speech--unlike women under our enemies, the Taliban.

Actually, anarchists believe in authority: theirs. They abhor structure and organization.

Katie Sierra is a 15-year-old anarchistShe should be real popular around Christmas in the Middle East or Africa. All the guys want 15-year-old anarchist females for Christmas. Oh, that's right, slavery is illegal here. Nevermind.

Why is what shes doing wrong? What if we were not free to disagree with the "norm" ? Welcome to Amerika!!!

KS: I've learned that this country is crap...actually I already knew that. Piss on Katie.
Piss on your website too.
To: truth4all
Obviously, freedom isn't for those who abuse it by saying unpopular things.
Sheesh! What a bunch of liberty-lovers on this thread.

Given her low self esteem it wouldn't surprise me if sweet Katie weren't already into "water sports".
To: chookter
"Piss on Katie."
The little twit would probably just write a poem about it.

Of course the reporter didn't seem to try to get the other side of the story... typical.

I guess I've learned that this country and school systems are more crappy than ever and they suck. I guess I've also learned not to give up. And to stand up for what you believe in no matter what it is. It's okay to think differently, its normal. Don't let anyone run over you because of your beliefs.BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!....as the late Frank Z. would say..."...a (many) true Zen saying(s)

L'il Katie's still at the "seen and not heard" age. By the time she's 18 she'll be insufferable enough.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!....as the late Frank Z. would say...The late Frank Z. would have defended her right to freedom of expression.

actually no. you're making a common mistake, which is to confuse anarchy with chaos and disorganization. In fact, most anarchists believe in quite organized -- but not regimented societies, with no rulers. and most importantly, with relations between people based on just that -- that they are people, rather than on how much power they have, be it public (ie, they're a cop, DA, president etc..) or private (your boss, the only employer/store in town, a major campaign contributor etc..). So it seems as if its you who is uninformed, but no longer, so no more excuses.

Was this a person to person interview or online? It has 'lol' and 'uhhh' several times. Who says 'lol' or types 'uhhh'? That just seems kind of odd.

Yes, but an anarchist club is a contradiction of terms - clubs have rules, by-laws, officers, scheduled meetings. bzzt. wrong. see post #34. And what makes you think an anarchist club would have rules, by-laws, officers etc.. Have you ever been to one? If anything by definition it would be structured such that it wouldn't have or need those things. keep up with the cleverness, it might do you good someday.

Everyone lighten up on her. She's 15. She's dead wrong, but at least she's trying. She just needs someone to "point her in the right direction." How do we get her hover here to give her some "guidence"?

I still say there's a contradiction - if you have a club with no rules, then anyone can join, including those diametrically opposed to the purpose of the club.
